Not everything is the same in the animation and the manga, in every animation I’ve seen was somewhat different from the manga, so this is normal and I think every animation doesn’t really need to follow the plot of the manga nor the novel if they have one
So far the donghua has been pretty spot on and the plot hasnt changed AT ALL Nada, nothing, so we r lucky so far. Idk about s2 but ehyyyy whatever man also the pit jumping scene was exactly like the manhua one but the dynamic MIGHT change idk
