I love how all of you hate on Hye-sung cuz he's materialistic and didn't want to have a baby with a guy that raped him (multiple times)
but you forgive a guy that KIDNAPPED someone and almost got that person RAPED out of jealousy the moment he gets a love story (just because he is beautiful, let's not kid ourselves).
I think it's really telling about some people reading these kind of stories where when a character is pretty/beautiful no matter what they do they'll still be painted as some kind of saint or forgiven easily when characters that are not conventionally attractive or just normal looking the moment they show any negative emotion/trait or defy said "pretty" character they are immediately hated on and bitched about in every comment no matter what they do
It's supposed to be a smut with some romance in it but like the sex scenes are awful, the characters feel like some robots or like they're someone's sims, there's zero chemistry between them.
It's like they're doing some normal stuff and then someone or something commands them to stop doing whatever they doing to fuck and after the do they reset and go back to doing their shit, it feels so weird, unnatural and uncomfortable. The art is kinda messy too, like the sex positions look sometimes so strange and the proportions of the character bodies change almost every time they have sex.
Alsooo I don't know if it needs to be said but obviously it's just my opinion if you like this manga there's nothing wrong with it, I just wanted to point out a few things that I don't like about it and I think are worth criticizing.
SPOILER
The emperor was never in love with Rashta and he only took her in so she can carry his child.
As it turns out when Sovieshu and Navier were little they ate cookies that were supposed to make them infertile and because Navier ate more he suspects that she's the one who's infertile (they've tried for a baby but she couldn't get pregnant) so he finds himself a concubine and when Rashta gets pregnant he is certain he was right (this one I don't know for sure but there's a high possibility that the child Rashta is having isn't his) but because Rashta is just a concubine her child can't be a heir to the throne so he asks Navier to adopt it.
She obviously refuses so he makes this plan where he divorces Navier makes Rashta the empress and then waits a year or smth (till the child can become a legitimate heir) divorces Rashta and marries Navier again (that's why he doesn't want her flirting with other men).
In conclusion the emperor is a piece of shit and deserves to die ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
I don't think it was an act tbh, but I don't think he was genuinely in love with Rashta either. It seems that he's more in love with the idea of being in love. He never intentionally sought out a lover, her just happened to find her when he went out hunting. Rashta was beautiful and pitiful, and quite frankly she was all over him. This boosted his ego and she acted the way he wished Navier did towards him, so he saw his opportunity and took it. It was after this that he started to piece together that dumbass plan of his...it was later revealed that he was in love with Navier, but too little too late for him I guess lmao.
Byul: Mommy could you tell me how you learned you were pregnant with me???
Hyesung: Haha it's a funny story you see at first I didn't like your Daddy but had to live with him so when I got a job and found a new place to live I wanted to move out as quick as I could but your Daddy didn't like it so he used his pheromones to force me to sleep with him and then the next day I started vomiting so we went to the hospital where we learned that he got me pregnant few weeks earlier when we first slept together ahah oh and did I mention that at that time I had my first ever heat therefore couldn't consent hahah and it reminds how he once brought home another omega but he didn't like them very much so he told them to go away and forced me again to sleep with him hahaha.
No but like for real Hyesung is bitchy at times but you all act like Doujin is some angel sent from heavens and ignore everything that he did at the first part of the story just because you think he's hot and rich.
Listen some of you really didn't grasp the situation right like you are mad at Hyesung for acting "like that" like what? Like almost every young mother that struggles with raising a kid because she worries about them and at the same time has to keep up with other things (like university)?
I mean obviously Hyesung has it great right now but that doesn't mean he's not allowed to panic or get mad or sad or show any kind of emotion other than gratitude, and if you re-read that chapter you can see very clearly that he doesn't scream at Byul because he just angry at him or anything but because he's worried as fuck and doesn't want his only child (that is very likely to be an omega in a world where they are seen as inferior) to suffer. Not to mention that Doujin wasn't very helpful in this situation with his "It WoUlD bE lIkE tHaT sOmEtImEs"
Some of you act like saints that would never scream, cry, get angry or show any kind of dissatisfaction in any kind of situation if you had a house and husband like Hyesung has but fail to see that having a nice house and a nice partner doesn't mean that suddenly all of your emotions, problems and insecurities magically disappear.
Well I guess the best outcome in this situation would be if Hyesung relaxed a little bit and got some therapy (and maybe for Doujin to stop sugar coating everything).

Please tell me I'm not the only one here who thinks that Sanghee's father and brothers acting possessive of her is not cute but creepy and cringy. Like fine they "reallyyy lovee" her but still treat her like an object, the only difference between her and her female siblings is that Sanghee is treated like some old valuable vase and her sister are like disposable trash . Nothing changed, the male characters are still the same misogynistic pieces of trash they were at the start of the story and them "caring" for Sanghee and allowing her to make other women "gain power", making exceptions for her etc., etc. is just supposed to tick us into thinking that they made some progress
*trick
Ya there's some quotes and sayings that basically state that you know who someone is based on how they treat others. These dudes may treat Sanghee well but that's not enough to say that they're not misogynists just like having a black friend doesn't mean you're not racist. Rather than as a female, Sanghee gets treated as an exception.
It's true to us because that shit would never fly in real life. However, in that world, it's uncommon to care so much about a girl and because their views on women are so low and so underhanded, I understand why they view her that way and treat her that way. It wouldn't make sense if they did an entire 180 and treated her the way most women are treated her. Their culture and upbringing are different.
*here
Agree with this. In our world they are shit. But in their world, what they're doing now is unacceptable (giving Sanghee whatever she desires)
Yeah I agree 100% and it's not that I want them to do the 180 because like you said it wouldn't make any sense. I guess what I really don't like about this is that the premise of the story is somewhat interesting and instead of making something out of it the author went the "UwU protective fathew UwU protective brotherws, look how much they love her so cutee" route
I guess that's the whole point of the story. She's not treated as bad, but that doesn't mean she's treated as she should. It's part of the story's plot. Everh man in this story is toxic, even Jinsu was. So yeah, your point is valid, it's only a tool for storytelling
