uhhh.. so can someone please explain what happened...? I forgot who those guys were at the end and if they're bad. Also, I thought the kids in the past really didn't like her because she had this "boring" personality and would do whatever she wanted. When did they start liking her or did they always like her? And why does Jeremy's fiance not want to keep Shuli around? Her rights won't be taken away, so...?
I'm pretty sure this is the past life of Shuli before she made up with the kids after being revived. I don't know why they are doing this last second but I think it's because they feel sorry for Shuli. And Jeremy's fiance feels that Shuli will take Jeremy away from her and Jeremy will end up getting attached making her alone like her deceased mother(I think) as you could see the mirrored image of her mother and her father cheating on Jeremy's fiance's mother after and before she was on her deathbed.

ok I need an explanation cuz my slow ass can't understand anything i'm reading. I saw in another comment that the guy who invited them to the party/the guy with the scar is her uncle but why would he invite them if he never liked her in the first place. Also, I don't understand why they went to the crystal palace and what they found out. What do you even do in the crystal palace? What do you do there anyway? is it like a hangout for demons? who sent those demons to attack Halstead? and who is that white-haired hot guy?
Well, this is my prediction.
I think that the uncle is probably the part of the "humans" who sided with the demons. So basically he probably invited them as a distraction to keep them from the Halstead castle while the demons were sent to destroy it. [Hopefully that helps u understand a bit more]
They went to the crystal castle and found out that while they [ml and fl] were attending a ball, the demons will use their absence to their advantage to destroy Halstead.
Crystal palace, I think its just a place held by a higher status person.
We don't know who sent the demons or who that white hair hot guys is yet but im thinking he is the one who sent them according to my prediction

Can someone please explain what happened in the last 3 chapters? How is Athanasius still alive and I saw Lucas in one of the panels when Athanasius was remembering something. Does that mean that Lucas was manipulating him? Also why would be want to kill Claude? And how is he using Jenette? I don't think he can really gain anything by gaining Jenette's favor? Also, are Claude and Athanasius not biological brothers? Because I think that their mom said that Claude was an illegitimate child,.
yes, Claude and anastacius are half siblings, they share the same father but different mother. Lucas is the grand wizard/sorcerer (whichever whatever) magician of the country. Despite looking like Athy’s age he is the oldest character in the novel and in the country, and him being the wizard of the country, he serves the emperor and has to meet them. In the panels, anastacius was remembering his meeting with Lucas, who said that he (anastacius) is not fit to be the throne. Anastacius wanted to prove Lucas that he is he only rightful heir to the throne, and the dark speaker that talks to anastacius is not Lucas but the dark energy that he absorbed. Anastacius wants to kill Claude because he wants to prove Lucas that he’s the only one rightful for the throne and not the “illegitimate child”

Jeannette is anastacius child born from dark magic. He is using Jeannette’s crystal eyes (the eyes that show that they have royalty blood) to play the idea that “Claude has another child, and Claude should take care of Jeannette and while he’s taking care of Jeannette, Jeannette’s whole being as a child born from dark magic will ruin claudes health overtime” which is what he is doing right now. He’s gaining Jeannette’s favor because I’m the end Jeannette is his only true “family” and if he does succeed in taking the throne, he has a successor with him that also uses dark magic/has dark magic.
anthasius is pretending to be dead and hes the one who came lucas' tower and took his magic/potions? hes not really gaining her favor but using her as shes kinda close the claude. idk if claude and anthasius are biological brothers but idc. anthasius is using jenette by sending her a curse through her bracelet to claude to kill him. anthasius just wanna be king ig

Athanasius is still alive because rn he is possessed by the soul of that guy who was obsessed with Lucas, I think he was called the Empire's strongest emperor and he's like over 200 yrs old or smth. So basically the guy possessing him used some sort of magic I think. We saw in an earlier chapter when Claude's brother was still himself and they had a good relationship where the stalker guy was calling Athanasius.
Lucas isn't manipulating anyone, but he can sense something is wrong.
I'm not sure why he wants to kill Claude but I think it's to annoy Lucas- I saw somewhere that the stalker guy saw how much Lucas liked Athy so he wants to mess with Athy by killing Claude thus getting to Lucas because Lucas loves Athy (hehe, I prefer Lucas)
He's using Jeanette as Jeanette is Athanasius's biological daughter. He's using her desire to have a real family to get to Claude, Athy and Lucas. As Jeanette has black magic, she has capabilities to be used as a pawn and kill Claude. However, her magic isn't strong enough yet so Athanasius is using the fact that Jeanette can numb Claude's headaches to transport curses to Claude like in the most recent chapter.

So that dark magic is the soul of the stalker that's possessing Athanasius. You can tell by the black messy hair that it's the messy blonde haired kid that Lucas savagely dissed. Idk why it's black rn, but it's probably due to his black magic.

I don't remember seeing a stalker and it looks like the brothers didn't like each other since he was considering killing Athy's mom and he had a mad face when some girl said that his younger brother was talking bad about him (in the past). So I'm not sure if they had a good relationship. Also, some people are saying that Athanasius had beef with Lucas because Lucas said he couldn't be emperor since he "wasn't capable" and Athanasius wanted to prove that he could, thus wanting to kill Claude. But you said that he is being possessed by some king..? I'm confused about that. Is that why he had a shadow that was talking to him?
Yup, that's it exactly. Jeanette can numb Claude's headache's due to her affinity for black magic and as Claude's headaches stem from his usage of black magic, Jeanette's affinity from being artificially born numbs his headaches but worsens his symptoms rushing Claude to his death. However, this takes time so this is why stalker guy inside of Athanasius is giving Jeanette curses so that when she gets near the emperor he starts to react as the way he did in this chapter.
ohhhh. So Athanasius is DEAD like DEAD, dead, right? And that stalker that we still don't know of is just using his body for his own needs which is getting back at Lucas for something? But if he possessed him, was it right after Athanasius died or was he in him even while Athanasius was still alive?

Ok so the brothers had a good relationship when Claude was little. We saw this in a chapter where a bruised Claude goes looking for Athanasius after the stalker guy was summoning Athanasius. As they got older, the stalker guy's influence over Athanasius grew and Claude's and Athanasius's relationship got worse. Stalker guy, AKA the guy inside of Athanasius grew a complex after being harshly treated by Lucas and pursued disrupting him so that he could prove him wrong about being trash. Killing Claude is a step on the path of getting Lucas to admit he was wrong by killing Athy's precious father and thus breaking her- this will effect Lucas because he loves Athy and so he thinks he can resolve his complex (not that he knows he has a complex, but it's really just an obsession due to his want for praise as he looked up to Lucas as a child). Just to clarify, but this isn't Athanasius's desire, Athanasius is a pawn and the stalker guy is controlling him through possession. You can tell everytime Athanasius's eyes turn red.

The dark magic that talks to anastacius was the previous king before them, I forgot his name, but the king that Lucas mentions in his first introductions in the webtoon (when he said the last king he talked to was 1000+ years ago, the king who was obsessive with power, etc.) that king- who Lucas turned down for power, is trying to possess anastacius- or is already possessing him by giving anastacius the dark magic. The shadow/dark magic was already talking to anastacius since he was somewhat young (Claude and anastacius had a normal relationship until it was around coronation age, where the king probably took ahold of anastacius)- so it’s probably that dark shadow was the one that encouraged anastacius to try and kill Claude.
Anastacius can’t touch or be physically near Claude because his power is still too weak- and I think it has something to do with their powers clashing, so he’s using Jeannette as a power outlet to attack Claude without leaving a trace that says it’s him (if they do find a trace, which Lucas did, they can only see that it’s coming from Jeannette and not anastacius because Jeannette has her own dark aura from being born as a mix)
I think anastacius is alive, physically and mentally- since he was still able to recollect memories when he was a child- of his mother yelling at him about Claude, so it’s more like there’s two souls living inside of anastacius’s body, but the real anastacius don’t really have much control when his powers are derived from the king that is possessing him
The king that’s possessing anastacius is obsessed with Lucas because Lucas has the highest power in all of the country/people, he’s stronger than all the previous kings- the king possessing anastacius got turned down from the throne because he was “incompetent” and he’s probably mad that Lucas has the power to override his right as a royalty to control the mages/wizards in the country (which includes Lucas)
I think anastacius knows he’s being controlled, he probably made a pact with the king during the time when Claude did a mass massacre in the palace just so that he can stay alive (by borrowing the king’s dark magic maybe, since anastacius wasn’t born with it)

It seems that he really believes that he is not meant to be married, he thinks that she is suffering as long as she is married to him. She must've realized that she can't easily change his mind, since that's what he's been believing all this time, so she resorted to making sure she stays with him in hopes of understanding him and changing his mind

Can someone can explain why she is mad at her ex? Honestly, I don't understand why she is mad at him because he had to marry lady Ani to defeat the enemy. It's not like he wanted to. If he hadn't gotten married, he wouldn't have become emperor and his country would become choas. Now he is asking her to wait 5 years (idk why he is asking her to wait that long so if someone could explain that), so why doesn't she wait 5 more years to become empress. Yes, its unfortunate but it's better than not being with him at all.

It’s just a sucky situation. Anybody would be upset at hearing their SO is getting married to someone else and she gotta wait an additional 5 years. She’d have to wait a total of 7 years. Anything can happen in those years. Understanding and wanting to be stuck in that situation are two diff things.

Understanding is not the same as forgiveness lol. She said she understood why, not that she accepts the choice he made or isn’t majorly pissed off about it because she wasted years on him. Anyone can understand anything about someone else, that doesn’t mean acceptance.
