The way i see it is that reo was interested with ritsu for the similarity with shingo but bothered and uninterested after knowing he is not a black cat. But ritsu keeps showing up and gives reo a chance to know him.then he got more interested with him especially when ritsu confessed.

Well reo is not called selfish prince for nothing. He wants his love to look only at him so any kind of involvement with others would make him jealous.
