The story will focus entirely on his journey and the so-called romance part only takes up about ~8% of the story and it is going to be around the third act or ending of the story. It's not even that much of a romance per se, just mutual respect and understanding between the two of them. It will not make jinwoo weak and nor does it ruin the story. They will not be flirting and all of jinwoo's leveling will be entirely solo. Don't just make your own assumptions because you're too lazy to read the novel.
