i mean say what you want but this is just Killing Stalking in a new flavour
The characterisation is completely different (ie. in personality they are nothing like KS characters) but if you think about it a lot of the "set-up" of the story is the exact same lol even down to the police side character, womanly figure that looks like the uke. Not to mention the aesthetics are quite similar ie. the way the characters look. I'm not complaining you just can't pretend you don't see the similarities

The only similarity is uke looks like yoonbum imo. like ks was more a psychological thriller and had an unreliable narrator and was different with how the story progressed. the police also acted like completely different in ks and we saw more from their pov. not to mention sangwoo literally killed people in his basement brutally and in this the red haired dude doesn't have rlly any defining characteristics in common with sangwoo

you can't be serious. you literally cannot be serious LMFAO. ?? oh wow a police side character in a psychological horror that involves killing.. hmm wow ... why the hell would they involve that ? why would the police be involved in someone who's a murderer ??! like ?? hello ?? feeding lamb has the same shit but you wouldn't compare ks and feeding lamb would you ? you wouldn't call them similar. also having two characters who are similar in appearance means nothing ? if they serve a different purpose ? it's clear to see the woman in chapter 7 (?) is someone the killer probably loves/heavily admires and he says he wants to stay by her side. her similarities to the uke could be explained later on. while in ks, bums similarities to sangwoos mom are coincidental, and serve as basically a catalyst to jumpstart sangwoos, like, acceptance of bum. if you were going to say that there were similarities, which i won't deny there are, maybe choose something that actually is similar and not just silly things.

ALSO ALSO in what way is the set up the same ?? the uke was getting raped and the killer had chosen the wrong time and place to try and target blondie and just happened to stumble across them. like ?? that's how the action literally starts. in ks, bum breaks into sangwoos house and gets caught. :| completely two different set ups. like what ??

geez chillllllll I think you're misunderstanding my comment completely. By set up I mean that there are a lot of elements that are similar that we are introduced to (and don't have context yet for) like I literally mentioned eg. we have a mommy (teacher) issues seme doing a kidnapping, a uke that looks like what seems to be an important female figure in the seme's life, a side plot of a police character trying to catch them, 2 characters with issues that seems to attract each other and give each other something they are missing etc etc. Some main elements we are introduced to early in both webtoons. Idk if set up is the right word but I couldn't think of another one. Story elements perhaps? You're going two steps ahead and starting to compare plot points and the literal first scenes of which I don't think is fair to compare yet hence why I didn't mention it. Idk why you're so angry tho they're not silly things; they are clearly similar and many parallels can be drawn...The story only just started I'm only pointing out what I noticed so far. Why am I being attacked if there are undeniably similarities like you said... If those aren't similarities then idk what are. I also never said that the fact the characters look similar means anything. It's just an observation sis. It's not like I said I hate the story or accused the author of copying...I literally mentioned that I'm not complaining it's just I'm just seeing a lot of people are pretending there aren't similarities when there are. Am I not allowed to critically evaluate what I've noticed so far? Clearly, the author took some inspiration from KS or similar webtoons, there's literally nothing wrong with that.
'New flavour' is perhaps what is being misunderstood but firstly, its a joke. And secondly does not imply it is the same story at all, in fact it is quite the opposite. Meaning this is a new take on the kidnapping story KS had.
I could do without the condescending and negative tone. Thanks

ok first off it's not an attack. just cause someone voices their disagreements about what you said doesn't make it an "attack."
where does it say the seme has mommy issues ? i'm looking for it and i just can't see it. just cause he likes a woman he has teacher/mommy issues ?? which aren't even the same thing btw.
ig the uke looks like her but as i said !! just because they look the same means nothing if it serves a different purpose !
police subplot/includes police doesn't count because as i said, it's a psychological horror that includes killing. of-fucking-course there is going to be a police subplot. black mirror involves police, feeding lamb has it, p sure obey me does too. that doesn't mean it's inspired by or using the same elements koogi uses cause ITS A LOGICAL COURSE OF ACTION.
"2 characters w issues that attract each other and give each other something the other is missing" literally describing any romance manga/manhwa/ any romantic relationship ever ? every character has issues. it's not exclusive to ks. so this doesn't count either.
i understand when you say you used the wrong word, so my bad for misinterpreting. but yeah, they are silly. you're comparing two things that aren't really similar when you could use literally anything else that is similar. like the character design, or the whole fight sequence. and yes, you did mention two characters being similar. in your original comment, you literally said "womanly figure that looks like the uke" meaning they share similarities.
i'm literally not attacking you jesus christ. just because i disagree and offer my own view doesn't mean i'm attacking you. "am i not allowed to critically evaulate what i've seen so far?" that's literally all my original comment did. and as i said in my original, yeah there are similarities. i'm simply saying you should use the actual similarities instead of using things that either A, are a logical course of action. B, could be explainable/used in a different purpose.
calling it a new flavor of ks, yeah sure it's a joke, but it's also kinda discrediting ? like the author worked hard on this and to have it reduced to "haha ks lookalike uke looks like bum brrr" is just kinda rude. if everyone keeps referencing it as being associtated to ks like that it will never be able to stand on its own and actually like, grow. yk ? it's like constantly being compared to your sibling (if you have any) eventually you kinda just fade into the background and become known as "that girls/boys sibling." instead of your actual name.
the comments are really mixed but ngl I'm actually liking this manhwa. I think it has good development so far. I think some ppl are forgetting this is from Hoin's POV like Chunwoo has no idea he has feelings for him. From his POV that kiss was only pure embarrassment because he thinks Hoin is straight and that they are only friends, and NEW friends at that. Obviously Chunwoo and the sunbae have a toxic relationship but they are fuckbuddies. They fuck. The sunbae didn't actually do anything inherently wrong. Clearly this is a regular thing - he just kissed his fuck buddy without realising he had a friend over. Clearly he didn't do it on purpose (from what I can tell) no matter how much of a dick it seems like he will be later on. I think Chunwoo is more mad at himself than anyone for not being more careful and that anger feeds into the fact that the sunbae only comes over when he's drunk (big red flag) and completely humiliated him. So he aboutta have angry sex, it happens. Like ya'll expecting him to just run after Hoin or something? Or never talk to his fuckbuddy/sunbae again just because of an honest mistake? The sunbae did apologise and offer to leave. From Chunwoo's POV he thinks he probably just lost a friend based on Hoin's shock and abrupt departure ofc he's not going to ruin another relationship even if the sunbae wasn't sincere in his apology.
Idk maybe I just like drama especially when it's on the realistic side which I personally think is the case so far
