It really truly wouldnt be weird. Its almost as if they were childhood friends that became lovers. It would be the same scenario. Also age isnt a problem here if you were wondering. The spirit is basically created at least a year or the same year the twins were born so realistically they are the same age even tho the twins have the mentality of almost a 30 year old

Dude he is created to protect both of them and keep them safe so YES he is supposed to be at least a brother figure to them.. Plus he should love them both the same amount and shouldn't bias at all when they're in danger.. First off y oi u are think way fucking off considering how the story is. First, it would be better if he became the ml since she doesnt feel much of the imperial connection to the guard. Second no, he is NOT supposed to make place of any family member figure. If you claim that to be the case then all the knights in the fucking palace are family. The spirit is basically a knight. That's all they all are. Also there wont be any biased situations since he legit HAS to be with them 2 since he is BOTH of their guardian and most of his existence relies on the boy since yk. Use common sense.
