It took me a long time to actually get the courage to read this bc I pretty sure this story would be sick and twisted without a happy ending. I really love this story because it's very realistic. I like how the author created the characters that were psychological damaged and even when it seemed like they were doing well in their "relationship" it still showed that two sick people do not make for a happily ever after.

I feel like Kou never actually did anything to make up for being a shitty person... I was actually excited that there was manga where the uke would dump the asshole seme and find someone better, but I guess that's too much to hope for...

Yep. And he was honestly being creepy when he was "apologizing". Idk, imo, when you apologize and the person does not accept it, you shouldn't force it. So annoying

I've heard a lot of people say (one of my friends included) that Mafuyu is still hung up on Yukki and his love for him can't be compared with Uenoyama. I feel that Mafuyu still loves Yukki because he was never able to resolve his feelings naturally (like Aki and Ugetsu). He love for Yukki was violently ripped away when he died so of course he has a lot of unresolved feelings that he carries with him. But the fact that he is pushing forward and giving his heart to Uenoyama means that he is trying to deal with his lost love. The way Uenoyama handles it is very heartwarming as well; he isnt presumptuous, he allows Mafuyu feel the way he needs to. Mafuyu wants to move on and heal, yet still keep Yuki apart of him, which is why I think a lot of people think that his relationship with Uenoyama is unfair. But I think it's only natural, Yuki was apart of his life since he was a child. Why should he give up loving him for Uenoyamam? That doesn't mean he can't love him just as much as Yuki, he just has two sides of his love. But idk I just feel like the story is trying to convey that you don't have to stop loving someone you've lost for another person. You just have to have the courage to love again.
