Each chapter was chaos. Everyone was so OP. Action scenes will keep you on your toes. A lot of lives were lost but the fast pace won't allow you a break to wallow into the pain and drama. It was a mature read, you'd have to harden your guts with all the bloodshed. Axe hanging by the chest. Bodies riddled with bullet wounds. Missing head. Missing limbs. People driven by anger and despair and chasing after revenge. Justice, honor. Malice and greed. You won't be able to put this down until you reach the end and still feel like it's not enough. It was such a painful ride and an enjoyable read. Another one fell into my favorite list!
I truly despise that earthquake's loathsome mug.. can't wait to see his bloody, torturous death in the hands of kayden.. grrr
Omg! Finally saw earthquake getting whopped (although I'd hoped it was his head that'd rolled). Kayden's gonna punish the people who tricked jiwoo first before proceeding to the real fight. Next up would be duke. And since Kayden's known to be a trickster and a jester, he'd buy himself time until supri calls for a ceasefire then he'd walked outta there in his sassy cat a$$ disguise, totally intact and unharmed (hopefully)
