Just realized that I'm a fan of this artist. Like that "Not for the Faint of Heart". Although short, you can clearly see the heart and and beauty of the story, you don't even realize there's no kiss/sex scenes. No unnecessary hatred, revenge and negative emotions. Just pure love. There are quotable lines as well that are so poetic, it makes one feeling lethargic. This is really good!

Oh, that ended pretty well. The artwork was so korean-like.. Is that even a word? Lol. Anyway, I like how the story progressed so smoothly and with less heartaches and dramas. It's just like a real-life scenario of how people react and handle things. It's a balm to my heart after reading a long psychological, tragic stories (not that I don't like 'em though). I was actually hoping for a second season like in Cherry Blossom where the story revolves around them living together and encountering hurdles as a couple like public prejudice, family acceptance, future plans etc. Oh, wow I think that's a tall order huh. But if the creator decides to leave it as it is, it's pretty neat, too. In conclusion, congrats and thanks for completing such wonderful story!

Why does it have to end there? Hate cliffhangers. How I wish yellow dragon left even just one of his seven swords to the emperor to protect himself although it's a pity he can't fight much more lift that supernatural sword.
Funny how this reminds me of fushigi yuugi. An ordinary girl (Miaka) from different world becoming an empress of suzaku and a lover to one of her warriors (Tamahome). I bet if tale of yellow dragon becomes an animated film, it'd be so cool. Something I'd definitely watch!

The plot is all over the place and the character profiling aren't good. Despite this being fiction, the people in the story act as though they're immature ba$tards without education and moral. Like come on, a father/grandpa who staged a kidnapping just to spite a woman? Although it mostly doesn't make sense, the story goes on forever obviously (or perhaps) because it's become commercialized. The longer the story goes, the more money comes from supporters who buy it. Although I have no right to complain coz I'm reading it for free but I'm actually feeling bad that there are artists who choose for quantity (I'm referring to monetary value here) over quality (of the story). So sad and disappointing.
I wasn't expecting much of it coz I judged the art right off the bat (my apologies). But the turn of event was just as unexpected. It even freaking made me cry. I hated it. You know when you read something with hateful ending yet you found yourself stashing it into your favorite list? This is the feeling it inspires from me. Just like...
December rain
lifeless man
dolphin fairy (second couple)
I think there's a lot more but I can only remember a few. Although these have sad endings, they were worth the time and also worth remembering.
These kinds of old mangas, despite them short and no color, mostly are the ones that have substance and unique plot. Truly a gem.
But seriously though, now I'm depressed and I can't sleep.(⊙…⊙ )
