If the MC was scouted for any other career besides teaching, I bet this wouldnt be the same outcome. I think part of the reason (maybe even a major one for now) of why he's not angry at the MC is partly because MC's a teacher. A teacher teaches things the others have little knowledge for. So basically to the ML, every word is a fact and sometimes MUST be changed. Besides having attraction to the MC, being a teacher has a lot of advantage for manipulation... that might be the wrong word but yknow, educating them differently that could either lead in a dark or hopeful light
