I remember a book cover that made me ship those two but on season 2 the actual ship to the main character was someone else, I ended up dropping the book when I found out the spoiler since it'd be difficult to adjust to the canon ship that I never targeted. I'm the type to ship characters and have difficulty shipping one of them to the other ship (I am so bad at explaining!!!)

Are you talking about a BL or some other hetero work? Because in this BL world what yiu described hardly happens. Anyway Ver (the vampire) is fucking the other dude who was interested in the MC. So it’s obvious that this story will have a “side couple” as well.

At least that kind of book is rare, but I'm saddened by it... I really liked the story but the ship was difficult to endure or think about while reading.
