Yoshiki is gonna beat himself up for that so freaking baaaadd noooo and „hikaru“ probs also cause he hurt someone again and doubled yoshikis depression. I wonder if the mom interacts with them to smh mayb to get her daughter back or if yoshiki completely commits to doing whatever he can for “hikaru” and blackens aka gets rid of the mom. :( I only see bads outcomes. A funny thought was that “hikaru” is in both og hikarus bod and in the one from the lil girl
God ive curated an entire background playlist for this and Im still itchingg for a new chapter this manwha is so special to me ahh artist pls well enough to continue again! ToT
Never has a series got me hooked on drama this well. Every chap I’m like
Edgar is a Girlboss I can’t explain why but everytime he is on a panel I want to flip my hair behind like an old school sassy diva cause I need to Channel his bossy aura
GUYS I DID THE MATH AND SHES 13SHES 13 GUYS THE WHITE HAIRED GIRL IS 13 WTF (like I didn’t finish reading and I don’t want to if she’s really 13 Pls tell me if she’s like already in a corporate job cause then I’d be an abysmal translation error or somth)
YOU DONE MADE ME LOVE THEM REVIVE HIM MAKE THEM BOND JUST TOO FUUUCKKKING KILL HIM AGAIN AND LET THEM MEETTT IIIINNB FUCKING HELLLL BECAUSE HE TOOK HIS LIFE BECAUSE HE MISSED HIM. BITCH THEY MEET IN HELL AUTHOR DIEEEE DIEEEEEE DIIEEEEEEE (I love this author)
Idk but it’s written so good and the characters are so grounded and not out of this world.
I say this rarely but I would totally enjoy a live action adaptation or something. Like I wanna see heechans store fleshed out as a set and a super handsome actor that manages to nail his bickering nature.
Like it’s hitting every note it’s one of the only Manwhas where I’m waiting upon every episode. So every drama episode could have a dramatic ending and recap.
Han Yoojin reminds of an angry Norwegian lemming in this chapter. He got the aura of a beast but is just a little dude that’s super tenacious. I love this man y’all <3
Kanna is like no shit a real person to me. At some point especially once she runs out of fairy tales to tell I just didn’t see it as a panel but a window on what a real person is doing in a manga and morphed into the art style. To say it disrespectfully it was one of the most immersive things I’ve read.
Especially at the end I wish I could drag her out.
I think I’m really into this because I once did an in-depth thought experiment about what I would realistically do or feel like if I really would get transmigated into a story.
I would feel like I live in the sandbox of the authors imagination and every character was a hollow plot point of the author about some conception or ideal they have.
The isolation would be unbearable and I think I would try to kill every last person in the novel just so I’m the only voice calling someone to rescue me for pages without end.
Every sequel would juste fr be filled with my cries for help.
I loved this story and wish the best of luck to Kanna.
Some seem confused and the only part where I had to back track was when the head maid was scolding MC and slowly realized something about poison. So then I scrolled back to the panel with the silver spoon on the ground. As many know when the silver darkens it means a poison reacted with the silver (many noble families used this back then). At first I just thought it was decorative shading.
Man I was so disappointed to find out that the maid wasn’t the thief.
Like they set all those cues up like being super strong, nimble enough to jump on roofs while carrying the princess, being good at avoiding security red ropes and knowing about the corruption and who to target by following around the princess and getting intel from her.
And at the beginning it set up that the princess had like a mystery crush on the thief so the maid hearing that would make some really funny moments.
I’m upset.
