chowon's mental health is not kyungsoo's responsibility. if he wants to leave, he can. he shouldnt be told that he can't just because he apparently makes chowon better. kyungoo is not chowon's therapist, he should get professional help.
I think he just meant that chowon needs stability (but thats encouraging his dependency on other people.) Personally i think they need to set really strict boundaries but i hope kyungsoo doesn't threaten to leave or anything because i think that people leaving chowon behind is what caused so many of his mental issues in the first place. I def don't think chowons mental health is on kyungsoo tho but for now to get better chowon needs someone to at least stick around.
this is very true, but i think what his manager meant was for kyungsoo to stay as a form of support. he can see that kyungsoo is a good influence on chowon’s behavior, not necessarily someone who is ‘fixing’ or acting like a therapist. there’s no harm or shame in relying or getting help from others, as long as what’s happening isn’t exploitive
