like this is literally "when love arrives" by sarah kay and phil kaye in the flesh if u think about it. love arrives exactly when love is supposed to. and love leaves exactly when love must. and it did! no matter how fleeting their relationship was, it meant something to trevor and gene. gene met trevor during a time when he needed him most, and trevor met gene because he was supposed to. that's it. being in love doesn't mean you should be together. and thats the tragic part of it.
I get that, but that doesn't mean they can't stay in touch. It bothered me that they, especially Gene, couldn't do that. And that Gene was like, "alright... Well it was good seeing you again. Bye~" and was ready to just walk away forever again. That's fucking tragic.
i just think that there should come a point in ur situationship (can u even call it that when u only fuck when the other is drunk off his ass so u pretend everythings normal when ur sober when its not) especially when ur past ur 30s where u think "is this how i want to live my life" and just tell that person what u rlly feel or just end it and never see each other again cos its just plain stupid to waste ur time not having the real thing when u know damn well u can.
