While I get everyone’s opinions on the ending, I’m happy with how it ended.
Truthfully, I hope Minho read both the books Woojin published because I feel like it would help him better understand Woojin and maybe even himself and if he’s open minded [now], it could possibly foster some self reflection on his part and hopefully he grows into a somewhat decent person.
Also, I feel like if the story ended differently (everyone going their separate ways and moving on), I think Woojin & Taehwan would be okay but they’d for sure be missing a small part of themselves deep down.
They are most definitely each others “the one that got away”.
The end when Wuyeon looks back like he wanted help from the reader but at the same time resigned himself to his circumstances was just diabolical and sad
This shit was atrocious. Also, I don’t blame the brother, he really tried to help and didn’t think things would get so fucked. Imo, since the police weren’t helpful the first time I doubt they be helpful again because Wuyeon would have definitely defended Mr Yoon unfortunately. And since the brother already went to them the first time they’d just drop it or assume the brother was harassing them.
Reading this made me feel like I was a kid again, sneakily watching the Young & the Restless or the Bold & the Beautiful while my mom watched it lol.
The drama, the art, the subtleties, the lighting, the plot, everything was so amazing (chefs kiss).
I read this while listening to ambient music and that added so much more depth to the overall vibe. Definitely gonna spin the block with this one fs (▰˘◡˘▰)
