I love their communication please I was totally expecting him ask to break up but he just communicated his feelings ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
I literally don't remember their names I'm sorry. LIKE I DO KNOW THEM BUT AS IM TYPING THIS THEY'RE GONE BUT ANYWAY
I could never be with someone like the ML(Vet) Both his partners felt lonely because of his work and still the author made his character one who would choose his job over them (in a sense, I understood the scenario) His ex gf cheating was inexcusable. I get why she felt lonely but she could've talked it out like ML said or just broke up.
The ML lowkey such a huge green flag too. Choosing to save the dying dog isn't even bad it's just my own personality that would've taken that as the last straw if I were the MC and smth actually happened Would've definitely made me break up with him or stop asking for stuff in the relationship. I'd just be 'okay/fine' with everything they want. This is why communication is so important
IM NOT AGAINST EITHER OF THEM BTW IM JUST SAYING HOW I PERSONALLY WOULDVE FELT
I get you're point. I would've been the same. A person like Shizuma (ML) would hate me. I wouldn't talk, I'll just take it in. I understand the job and love animals too so I'll compromise my happiness and just battle with my own loneliness and incapability to be happy all for the sake of his job and the animals.
Shizuma's ex though, she's well, incapable of being independent and take initiative by breaking up. She must have a partner who will take care of her, it's annoying af, so when Shizuma couldn't be there she opted to cheat instead.
Exactlyyyy
Like I'd be so happy and proud of you because you're great at your job and you're saving animals.......while hiding the fact that I just want to spend time with my lover because they're prioritizing their job over me ╥﹏╥
His ex...She really was annoying. I'm not sure why she was jealous when Minato was being lovey dovey with Shizuma because she was literally the one who caused them to break up. (Not exactly, Shizuma definitely played a part in it) But SHE cheated, was disloyal, unfaithful and hurt him much more than he hurt her I'm sure but yet she seemed jealous??? Especially the part when Minato had called to apologize for "tricking" Shizuma in the earlier chapters and she took Shizuma's phone and blocked him..like what??? So glad Shizuma said smth about it tho
The ex is as worse than Shizuma when setting boundaries. Plus she just assumed all on her own that what she did and their break up is already resolved so she treated Shizuma as friend, not his ex girlfriend who cheated because she can't break up with him on her own. It's annoying. Everyone was annoyed, it was just that Shizuma, the ironically dense Shizuma, treated her normally as a friend after everything that happened.
The first two chapters I was kinda bored...but I kept going because I thought to myself "If this were animated this would be great." It's giving off Junjou romantica or that s word one with the same author. Not the same plot or anything but the same vibes if anyone gets where I'm coming from
Now I've made it to chapter 31 and I hate it so bad.
WHY IS THE ML AND THE OLDER GUY'S STORY SO SAD...
I feel so bad, they clearly both genuinely like and care for each other.
I saw someone say they're the definition of "right person wrong time" and theyre so right about that
Imagine if this timeline the older guy wasn't in a dangerous place or simply didn't make a deal/never met that woman, they couldve been happy together
Then I saw another person say the older guy didn't even get his happy ending. Like whattttt
Hurray the MC got his but what about him? This isn't fair
I'm sorry for not remembering their names I know it's Mr Yoon and Mr Yoo but i don't remember which is which
I need this author to return with a spin off of the older guy getting his happy ending PLEASE
This story was in my want to read for so long because I was scared I'd hate the art, thank God I love it now
Bro after finishing the previous chapter before this, I thought to myself "these kinds of stories...I always wish they would punish the person who messed up everything(the guy who hired the assassin) but they literally never do. They always just ignore the character so we forget them after a while just because they're a minor character or just some side character.
I am SO glad it showed that he was punished and especially that he was punished by the brother himself.
Even if the pages about it weren't long. They addressed it.
This author is great.
OKAY SO FINALLY READING THIS AGAIN NOW THAT MORE CHAPTERS WERE UPLOADED AND LET ME JUST SAY...
HABIBI ISNT MY FAVOURITE PERSON AT ALL...MAYBE SHE HAS GOOD INTENTIONS BUT COME ON...SHE BLINDLY ACCEPTED SOME WEIRDO SECURITY GUY SAYING HE WAS BUYING FLOWERS AND A RING FOR HIS GF WHEN SHE KNOWS HIM AND HARU LITERALLY RAN AWAY TOGETHER...AND THE LEADING THOSE SICK PEOPLE TO THEIR HOUSE PLEASE... SHE'S MAKING IT WORSEEE. THEY WERE HAPPY ALONE AND TOGETHER.
I started a little bit of chapter 45 and I can see Haru being defensive so I hope he keeps that up and ignores her/avoids her/doesn't trust her.
Okay back to reading until I'm up to date (⌒▽⌒)
This may literally seem stupid but I picture myself in his position and while reading I'm like "Now he's gonna fall into depression and just do whatever his brother says and nope around quietly" but then I think of myself in his position and I'm like "??? If my so called "brother" who I don't even like just told me he killed someone I cared about, much more than I cared about my literal blood related family or myself I would do everything in my power to make his life miserable??" Maybe it's just my petty talking but if he let me go out in public or I literally get him to trust me enough to let me out in public I'd start spreading rumors about him and by the end he finds out he'd literally have to kill me or just lock me up but if he locked me up people would eventually start talking knowing the rumors are true?? LMAO LIKE..
Also a side note, the brother is bad in this era but I hope he's not in the present time, seemed like he was but it seemed more like him being overprotective...hope that's all it is

But I won't ever like that I word guy LMAO???
The one who bullied Kouta
Idk what his intentions were with Mei Chan could've also been bad since he was straight up about to rape Mishiba earlier but because of that I literally don't like him and I don't think I ever will
Mishiba is also too forgiving. His friend (Kouta) tried taking advantage of him and almost did the same thing if not for Kazuma and he instantly forgave him. I guess yeah because he's his friend but still too forgiving
I also guess it makes sense why him and Kouta suit each other
Again Kouta forces himself on Mishiba even though Mishiba is trying to properly communicate with him and his feelings involving Kazuma.
Bro....they fr suit each other. They just force themselves into other people.
Then Kouta has the audacity to act like an overprotective friend be so fr. The author probably only kept him alive so they'd have another couple but he should've died on the road
I would've been fine with the other two older guys as a second story
*ONTO PEOPLE
Since you seemed to miss(/misunderstand) these parts in the story:
Iwa used the girl to lure Mishiba. He didn't plan to do anything to her since he knew Mishiba would come running if he gave that sinister smirk.
Also; Kouta was likely not the type to force himself on anyone, else he would have done that before already. The virus alters peoples behavior to be more instinctual or aggressive. Him being jealous and desperate combined with the virus altering his personality resulted in him acting the way he did, likely without wishing to do so or being able to do anything about it.
This is vastly different from someone just getting drunk and becoming bold or something, the virus literally changes the person. They are not to blame for the actions as they really aren't capable of being themselves. Similar to how an animal with rabies is not a vicious monster, it's simply sick and cannot control it's own body (even if mentally aware of what is happening).
OHHHH FAIR ENOUGH
THANKS FOR EXPLAINING IT INSTEAD OF STRAIGHT UP GETTING MAD
Nah wait what about when he was gonna force himself on Mishiba though
After luring the girl in I think (it's been a while )
No worries, mature adult here, I can talk with someone without getting prissy. Tho i know that's sadly not the norm on this website. X'D
The situation with Mishiba is a whole other pair of shoes tho. (This happens in chapter 3 of volume 3.)
Mishiba was his initial target, him coming onto Mishiba was due to his hatred since he thinks (and I quote): "Instead of killing you, the thought of raping your body seems much more tempting.".
This idea stems from his utter hatred of several kind. You'd be surprised how many rape incidents happen out of hatred rather than love, unrequited love, rejection, etc.. getting a hard-on can happen even in times of fear, so any form of 'excitement' can give you the...'options' to do the deed. Which I have realized, not many people know, hence why I think it needs to be mentioned. ( ̄∇ ̄")
Kouta only kissed Mishiba by force once before giving up and becoming his friend again, so I asume you're not refering to that incident. :'D
Okay yeah..after explaining the whole how the virus works thing I can be somewhat more lenient to Kouta
But still, just because Iwa was mad I'd like to think his hatred wasn't enough to justify wanting to rape him so I think I'll keep on hating him
Again, Kouta I can understand
His dialogues never got as far as rape (right?) so the virus making his behaviour more aggressively act on instinct was understandable. He actually wasn't completely himself and had no control over it. Can't say the same for Iwa
Well, the word hatred has been very washed out over recent years. I mean actual, REALY hatred. Not just being upset or miffed about something. HUUUUGE difference. <XD
It's fine not to like him, certainly, but he definitely had his reasons and given the desperation of the world and his personal affairs, it would honestly not be far from reality how many people would act. Zombie Apocalypse and abandoned love interest really DO be hitting different in combo.
Yeah nah, Kouta wanted to get frisky when he turned into a Zombie (again, emotions will be amplified due to the virus), but he probably wouldn't have wanted to force anything in his right mind.
In a funny way, the virus amplifying emotions and making one more aggressive is the same as desperation and hatred joining hands and finding a target to unleash it all on: the behavior is not normal, not something the character would have done under normal-world circumstances (no zombies, no percieved dead love, etc.) and is rooted in very animalistic traits.
This is why in zombie apocalypse movies we usually see people, all people, not being trusted: Desperation changes people. (Tho hatred and sadness too. Hence why we get people going out to take revenge on a killer for example. For Iwa, Mishiba is likely nothing different: a person that is responsible for his most beloved being gone. - With more detail on Iwa's emotions, the situation of his would be MUCH more understandable and he more likable tbh.)
In a way Iwa is similar to Scar from Lion King: The story portrays him as the bad guy, because it needs a bad guy, but the story fails to mention what exactly MADE him the bad guy. Including emotions, both positive and negative, as well as the change from good to bad. That last part being THE most important in writing a villain/antagonist that turns good/is supposed to be liked by people. Not all authors care for that part or can do it well tho. (I sucked at my first attempts too. XD)
For me nothing can justify rape. Not even someone's hatred for something/someone
Since this is most definitely fiction then it's not that big of a deal, I know where the line draws
True, tho there is a difference between justifying, explaining or simply giving reason why it happened. Doesn't make it less bad for the victim, but it DOES change the view i can have of the character. Omegaverse for example is a cesspool for these moments. For better or worse. XD
Btw, good for you that you CAN differentiate between fiction and reality! That's an important thing to have in life. Too many people on here go absolutely nuts, as if real crimes had been commited sometimes. (Which is why i never missed the comments when they went off for 2 years or so. Ah, the peacefulness~)
