To the people that have been reading/been apart of a fandom for a long time... Do you think you guys have matured? Like would you say they are certain things you've said in the past about a certain manga/character that you take back now because you realised it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows? Or are you sticking with every single thing you've said......
But I've been rereading mangas that I really enjoyed but suddenly I'm realising one of the MCs or side characters did something that didn't sit right with me
For this one it was when Felix tried experimenting with Danny without Gio's permission.
Like I get that he was worried about him but going behind his back like that after he already said no especially when it's something that involved Gio's body and no one else's aaaa It's making me like skip by the chapters where they discuss it cause it makes me "uncomfortable" (this doesn't feel like the right word but it's something close to that I guess)
DONT GET ME WRONG, I STILL VERY MUCH SO LOVE THIS STORY AND THE CHARACTERS. This is like my 73737383 reread and this has only bugged me now, same with other mangas, reread them a bunch of times and I've only starting to like become "aware" that some of these actions were not right at all
I knew I shouldn't have started this when it says incomplete but I was desperate for a good read
Now I'm up to date with the officials and waiting is gonna be a pain.
Also I completely forgot about Teo Yeon when they reintroduced Jin LOL. It was getting so interesting and tense and suddenly they switch to Teo Yeon getting himself off thinking of Gunmu LOL
Also Also, Jin is SO hot why does have to be bad
I came to reread Mayday to see this and was like "omds is this a sequel" and it turned out it was!! I was so happy
Honestly I'm not a fan of the art like...at all. Especially for ML...I mean his eyes looking like they were constantly glowing and it looked more like a teal/turquoise blue than actual blue eyes...so the fact that they literally looked like they were glowing in that shade constantly was....it was something lol
But I stayed because I enjoyed Mayday and figured I should still give it a chance and boy did I not regret that decision. I love them lol
I still don't like the art style but at least the writing was just as good as Mayday
Also is this considered stockholm syndrome I was gonna ask this question after reading Mayday but then I got caught up after discovering this sequel LOL
I remember before all the side stories were out I was hoping Haon would forgive his father despite understanding why he wouldn't want to. And all of the side stories weren't out yet but this story was marked as completed so at that time Haon had just talked it out with his father and that's it and it felt...idk what's the word lol. But it didn't feel like as though he actually forgave him and was just forcing himself to like his dad but after the rest of these side stories were posted showing the relationship they're building again....I'm so happy it worked out for them
Like I reread this from the beginning because I genuinely can't find any good mangas so I've been rereading old ones and I remembered I felt bad that Haon wasn't able to forgive his father which was sooo understandable which is why I felt bad lol. Seeing both POVs was . But then as I kept going I was like "okay well I don't feel that bad now...". He hurt Haon even if he wasn't intending to and it felt like i was the one being hurt dang. LOL But then as it continued and he revealed his reasons (which he still ended up hurting Haon in the end) I was like "okayyy I'm happy now". It felt more fulfilling than just ending it at the talk. Which now that I'm thinking about it...i should've known the story wasn't completed back then because it didn't say the end
Also the teacher from the academy...bro...my heart ACHED every time they brought him up. Why did the Arthur have to introduce such a nice innocent character that cared about the both of them and kill him off after
Regardless...PEAK. 10000/10
I'm on chapter 14 waiting for JJ to become likable.
I waited until this was completed before reading. Then I checked the comments to see everyone calling the story cute and praising it...saying the beginning made them cry....are the comments for this story mixed up or something? What part of the beginning was sad? Other than JJ treating Leo like genuine trash or some kind of germ.
The only reason I'm still going is to see whats JJ's reason for doing all this because I refuse to believe it's the reason he told Leo cause it's obviously not true. Like how do you even come to a onesided conclusion like that???
And when they broke up he dumped everything on Leo. Bruh.
So in my head JJ's being blackmailed and HAD TO breakup with Leo cause otherwise...no other reason is justifiable for treating him like dirt.
I wish you could search multiple tags at once...the search feature are just general tags and the actual tags only allow you to search one...unless I'm missing something..?
I wanna be able to find certain mangas with a female lead by just searching with the tags or certain bl mangas with yakuza...but I can only search "yakuza" which is one tag and I'll be hit with all genres of manga with the yakuza tag
I think people are getting this mixed up.
Yeah the translations aren't perfect but be fr. The pacing of this story was so weird....of course you'll be confused. The "bad" translations were just adding to it, but they weren't incomprehensible.
The pacing of this story is what made everything confusing. This genuinely had potential
Unless the uploaders are missing chapters then it's 100% the pacing.
Every time people on here read a story without the official translations they blame their lack of not understanding on the translations...whole time the pacing of the story is so much garbage even with officials you'd be confused.
This story is TRULY a gem.
I've come to realise I like ukes like this.
They're "carefree" but at the same time they're still good at whatever job they do. They are feared in their line of business and people respect them. And lastly, they'll also have the puppy-like seme following their every move.
Just like another story that I'm about to reread once I recall the name lol

While i was reading I thought "oh 61 chapters 10 volumes, I'm almost at end! They must make progress in one of these chapters soon" and BAM. I was WRONG
Now I'm STUCK with ANOTHER ongoing BL
They were off to a rough start....the beginning of their relationship was....not romantic....but thanks to stockholm syndrome they'll be in love! And if I just forget how they met and how they started off this is the cutest Loan shark x Broke guy (who's actually rich asl we all know you're lying) BL I've ever read!!!

ANYWAY LET'S GET STARTED
I'll use this for my first thoughts.
Okay at first I was lowkey confused but not confused when all the backstop and context was being given in the first few chapters. Like I understood but it felt like I'd need to reread those chapters again to realllyyy grasp it. But nonetheless, PEAK.
When I saw Osiris reappear after we were told he was dead I thought he was a fake or something because he literally looked green LOL. I didn't realise that's just how he looked normally until I saw the photos in the family tree again.
Isis was lowkey getting to me a little but I'm starting to feel like it was all a ploy now. Like the way she seemed super desperate over little things in the early beginning but then afterwards literally 3/4 chapters later she seemed so calm and collected. I love her.
I love Ra too. I love characters that are super powerful but sit back and do nothing unless the situation is dire all while being on no one's side. Plus she has a sense of humour I love her sm.
The second it showed us that seen of Osiris touching Seth's face like that...I suspected him. I knew something was off. I sensed the unhealthy obsession immediately...but I wasn't sure. But after getting to these chapters that I'm desperately trying to skip because I feel bad for Seth...it all makes sense.
Not to mention I also feel bad for Isis...her and Seth are basically in the same position right now or feel like the same person (?) ...not sure how to word this. But like...they were both betrayed by someone they thought they could trust and by someone they loved. Not to mention that someone is the same person for both of them..
They both been through so much and judging by the comments Seth is gonna go through even more?
I just hope there's no more Osiris and Seth situations because I see people mentioning that stupid mirror a lot and how they just want Seth to be happy. Even saw someone mention how everyone "wants" Seth so that's a bit concerning..

I've seen this on the front page before and I love stories with kids so I've always wanted to try it and so I did! Now I just regret it lol
This is why I always read the comments first and not rush in and read on my own (I didn't read the comments this time)
For one, the humour feels forced. It feels like the writing is supposed to be funny somewhere along the lines but it just isn't maybe it's because of the pacing of the story or whatever but the forced humour was really getting to me but I ignored it and kept going
Two....what do you mean he's dead? What...how old was the MC anyway? He's really gonna let his mother/older brother or WHOEVER that was tell him what to do with HIS body and the child that was inside of him? To the point that he straight up said the father of the child died without a care in the world? Mind you...the love interest hasn't done anything bad to the MC. Treated him gently in bed too during their one night stand. Yet he can so easily tell people the guy's dead?? Like atp he just used him lol. Got a child from him and just left.
2.2, why is even his FRIEND telling the love interest the MC is dead...like oh my.. is it that easy for people to say others are dead..and they're clearly not that good of friends if the MC didn't tell him what happened that night properly even though that's what the story made it seem like. Cause why would that friend's first thought be "I should tell this guy the MC is dead even though he's literally pregnant with HIS child and my friend didn't make it seem like something bad happened between them!" Like he did NOT have to say he died.
2.3, that idiot told the CHILD he died?? Oh my gosh...I would grow up RESENTING my parent if I knew they told me my other parent died just to run away from their problems.
3, the pacing seems SO rushed. It seems like they only included the "dead" parts so they could do a time lapse...like they were other ways to get to the time lapse...
"MC gets pregnant from one night stand but has doubts about relationship so travels somewhere else to live or just MOVES to somewhere else and raises the child on his own." Just tell the kid their dad isn't there. He's away doing important things if you don't wanna make the other parent seem like a bad person. Then have them meet again after the time lapse not tell the kid and everyone that hes DEAD bro PLEASE.

Another thing too...why exactly did he have ti move??? I can understand quitting his job. But he said he wanted to start fresh...so he goes back to old roots (his mother/brother)??? Be so fr. That's not starting fresh twin. He could've just stayed at his old place, kept the baby, and if he did need help he always had his friend there (TJE SAME FRJEND THAT TOLD THE FATJER OF THE CHILD THAT HES DEAD), or actually go to his family. What are they gonna do? Kill a 4 year old with their bare hands? (Idk he looks 4)
After rereading this for the third time...I definitely like Shin's old appearance/older appearance
When he cut his hair and shaved...he looked bland....not ugly though, just bland, like less personality or something

It's because I've read the prequel first and I love rereading it so I'm guessing I saw the cover one day and got them mixed up
Even now...I only clicked on the cover thinking it was the prequel but imagine my surprise when I started reading and realised it's not the couple I was thinking about but rather the brother's own story LOL
I've reread this so many times and every time I will always be mad at Gok during the pregnancy phase
Like...how do you mark someone, complain about them not being in love with you and when they finally return your feelings/be honest about how they really feeling about you, (mutual feelings mind you) you decide you want a child and the child is more important than that same person you cried over/wanted so bad....Like he was willing to toss Bin out over a child he didn't know existed yet.
Yeah he did say he regret it afterwards but it still pmo every reread
Then when he threw a SELFISH, EXTREMELY selfish fit over Bin not wanting to turn him into a vampire. The elder (cant recall his name rn) literally explained it to him too. Vampires themselves don't like being immortal and they envy humans. Like this is the general mindset for all vampires. Clearly it went through one ear and came out the next, head empty no thoughts for Gok. Because he asked Bin, Bin said no due to fear, just for Gok to throw another selfish fit in the middle of night and literally up and left. WHAT? Yes I can understand wanting to be with your partner forever, especially when that partner is an immortal vampire...but I'd rather sit down and talk about it if they told me no with such a worried expression?? And after everything the elder told me and everything the guy at the bar told me...Gok fully well knew what happened with Bin's mother? What a devastating story???
"Why was it okay for her and not me?" WHAT??? SHE DIED BLAMING BIN FOR TURNING HER INTO A VAMPIRE AND MAKING HER MISERABLE.
ENOUGH GOK. (Yes I know he didn't know this yet but he still knew about Bin's mother and how vampires felt about humans and their way of living)
After rereading this I'm only just noticing how bad Ms Ha was during Taesong's childhood oof...
I read this years ago while it was still ongoing, before it even became 18+ lol and I just thought she was idk misunderstood, not even sure what I thought but i just know i didnt see her in a bad light and with everything being cleared up in the future i definitely had no reason to hate her. .
...All I know is rereading this now has made me not like her (I know i will in future chapters)
But for instance...the flashback scene Taesong had...he was so excited to meet a mother he had no memories of just for her to not even try to connect with him all because she wanted a girl just so her child could get married with her best friend's child? ....what a selfish reason to neglect a child....I haven't finished my reread yet, only just started season 2 but seeing how Taesong spoke up to her when she tried to throw a fit about him relying on his dad made me so happy he never viewed his dad as someone bad and was never afraid to speak up to her. Especially with what she made him go through his entire childhood
Like how dare you try to get mad at him for relying on his own dad who actually did bother to visit him despite being so busy...meanwhile if she did have the time she just chose not to visit because she resented her own child for not being born a girl
I saw she mentioned something about her own dad which I guess will be brought up more later when she explains everything to Taesong but like I said...it's been so long with me and this manhwa I've basically forgotten everything
Poor Taesong could've had a happy life with his dad who would've definitely shown him more care and attention but only chose his mom because he wanted to keep seeing Haebom and Haebom's mom because he had his crush and she made him feel like actual family ┗( T﹏T )┛
