Everyone is mostly going on about Lin and his stupidity (and yes there is that) but Ye Shen is just being an ass and in a way it's uncalled for. Ye has known for years how Lin felt for his shit of a cousin so why star being an ass now about all this. Lin is blowing off his cousin for you, but do you see that no... Lin doesn't even see it himself... Both of them need to really think and look.... All that asshats wanting Ye is not helping anything either, they are just all annoying!
It understand what you mean, but it's not like Ye Shen is giving hell to Lin... he's only drawing boundaries so he can have his life back (and especially, his LOVE life back). He's trying to get over him because he's convinced that if Lin really loved him, he would've realized years ago (he clearly overestimated Lin's brains and self-awareness).
It's not like Ye Shen can *force" him to realize his own feelings. Given Ye Shen's introverted, serious personality, and the years he spent just content to accept whatever crumbs of affection Lin would give him, Ye Shen can't suddenly turn a 180° turn by becoming a demanding self-righteous love-warrior overnight... He can't tell him something like "either admit that you love me, Lin, or stop harassing me" without sounding like he's let go of his usual self-effacing personality by unexpectedly acting like he's gotten possessed by the ghost of some dead drama queen, nor can he just go back to being friends with benefits, and to letting Lin stay in his house for days, and letting Lin do whatever Lin wants with him, etc etc (like he used to), because then everything would go back to exactly the same miserable situation.
Nope, this time it's Lin's turn to be self-effacing, and sacrifice a bit of his ego, if he ever wants to recover what he and Ye Shen had, and more.
I can understand wanting to have boundaries, but it's the way he is going about it that I don't think is right.
Ye doesn't have to have Lin tell him anything like that, hell nether one of them see that Lin is in love with Ye, they both are blind it to or something.... Though Ye can say something to Lin about how he feels and see what happens, but he won't even do that cos he has it in his mind that Lin still wants his cousin, so he is just going to give up without even trying.
Ye is so gun hoe about getting over Lin that it's not really going well, and I don't think it's really anything Lin has done.... I donno this is just going on WAY to long I think that's the problem.
Ye shen can't just take it as love because lin has been in love w his cousin all these years but still kept the physical relationships between them. Yeah i agree they need to communicate better but every time lin visits ye shen he’d be on his neck trying to fimd out what his work clients or orher friends are doing. That’d bother everyone ye shen just needs a break. lin as a friend is so bothered by all of them he should just sort out his own feelings for shen if he’s gonna try to control whom shen meets and just confess. But he just brushes it with “youre my best friend, im worried about you getting hurt”. Come on shen has his own life and can make decisions lin gotta stop meddling so much like a jealous boyfriend and confess if he wants shen to juat see him and not others.
