
I genuinely enjoyed the ending options. It was a smart move from the author since discourse about who they ended up with and the gender they chose would be up for debate since the author explored them equally. I do wish an ending revolved around Hinase not choosing, but they had made already made the resolve to choose rather than being scared of making the change. From this it makes sense that they would explore their options and once they realized that they as a person wouldn’t change from their external appearance, they would go with what they wanted freely from the pressure of conforming.
Now I’m feeling a bit empty. Knowing that this long journey has come to an end. Especially after everything that’s happened. Knowing this story for the past 7 years and now I’m with it at the end. Glad I was able to see it finish. People may complain about the end but it was nice just seeing how instead of mindless filler we got the point we’re we see how they all worked together for the better.
