Yeah I think the point is, is that she has grown up and became her own person, so much that the brothers and everyone else doesn't see her as the one who died. Yes she became their sister but she didn't replace their deceased sister. Even I'm not 100% ok with it but I have to say I totally love the plot twist... Was really not expecting that!
