This entire story was so beautifully done, I actually made it a habit to listen to jazz while reading this story and it truly made it better... but I would be lying if I didn’t say the truth, even though the relationship between the brother and father hurt others around them... it hurt me the most to read because I could feel it all just from those small moments... how much they truly, loved one another. I cried so hard everytime I saw them because all I could hear was “autumn leaves” being sung by Frank Sinatra. When he finally read the the final note taejun left for him I had to turn off my phone and just let out all of my sadness and tears.... their love was like poetry, raw, deep, powerful with hints of sorrow. The saddest part to me though is that Taejun loved him for YEARS! YEARS!!! before he even met him, Taejun was already in love with him..... but by the time the father realized he loved him... Taejun was gone. Now he has to spend the rest of his life loving him alone.... god damn that shit hurt. But 10/10 this story was fantastic and I’m sad it wasn’t longer.

Is nobody gonna talk about how the Emperor and the Prime Minister’s horses were black and white like Yin and yang signifying that they can’t be one without the other.... that’s so beautiful AND THE EMPEROR CONFESSED HIS FEELINGS ABOUT THE PRIME MINISTER TO HIS UNCLE OMFG THIS NEVER HAPPENS IN MANHAU

Omg..... so I didn’t realized why he thought he was his fated pair until those last words “you always smelled like roses” ..... you guys realize he what he just confessed? He basically just said he’s been looking for that one special rose and he finally found it because roses are his favourite flower.... he finally found the perfect rose to take care of for the rest of his LIFE LITERALLY SOBBING THATS SO ROMANTIC WTFFFFF!!! （/TДT)/ okay we need a wedding and beautiful baby/babies rn.
