Right. The first season she was not a pushover at all and stood her ground firmly against her grandfather, 2 brothers, soon to be mother in law and the maids. The second season she was slowly becoming a pushover but still held her ground against the bullies that was mention in the first season when she was in school and third season. She just pathetic and weak. She no longer have a back bone.

After reading the novel I felt really sad since edith will suffer more later. I hate lize didn't suffer that much after everything she have done. I hope she got what she deserves
Don't worry the ending for "Lize" is the worst torture imaginable FOR HER. It's not conventional but I personally like it.
