I’ve never felt this much urge in wanting to kill an emperor. He’s siding with trashta while expecting the empress to continue being his wife. I love the scene where the empress told him that he may be her husband but not her lover.
Every time I read this I always feel both excitement and rage. Excited because of the divorce! Can't wait to get there! But until then, I really just wanna strangle the life out of that stupid king and slap the heck of that trashta's face
