I really don't understand the authors. They made the 2nd ML so much more likable than the 1st ML. I hope there will be a twist or smth, because if they just redeem Yahwi that will be such a basic move..

Imo, both yahwi and cain are weird asf, ones some apathetic cold hearted robot, the other is a technical stalker whose pretending to be some kind of lost puppy. But in terms of whose had the best intentions, Cain takes the win...we haven’t seen nearly not even half as much of Cain than we have of yahwi, and yet in just those short panels that we do get cain it’s so blatantly clear as day how much better he is than yahwi, and that honestly says a lot...perhaps yahwi will get some kind of redemption arc, but as of right now, redemption arc or not, Cain from the very beginning treated jooin well, where yahwi didn’t so to me, yahwi’s already lost
True, they are both pretty weird, but we must play with the cards we're dealt lol. As for Cain it seems like he remembers his past life or something along those lines (maybe he was a puppy so he acts like one with Jooin ??). It would explain why he is so fond of Jooin since the beginning and why he is calling him master. Also yeah from Cains past behaviors and actions it really does seem like he has Jooins best interest at heart (like how he is not coming onto him and restraining himself and also when he comforts him).
Yahwi on the other hand is traumatized by his family and had a difficult past and probably doesn't know what real love is or how to show it. That could explain his actions, but not excuse them. But in these type of stories usually the authors pull that pity card as an excuse and redeem them later when they start acting nice. Whatever happens with him, the fact he toyed with Jooin so much and also took advantage of him when he was drunk made me not support him at all.. I hope he will get his problems resolved, but I do not support him and Jooin as a ship cause they were toxic and I couldn't go past these stuff.
I have no idea what’s going on with Cain and the master thing, it was honestly SUPER random, but I totally agree, either way if yahwi gets a redemption arc I think I’ll still always be on team Cain. I think what is going to happen is, when Cain leaves in winter, yahwi is going to get a redemption arc and probably get back together with jooin and possibly by the time Cain comes back, it’ll be too late :( I hope my prediction is wrong but right now that’s ha it seems like it’s going to be to me sigh

So we can see that as soon as Sooho's head hits the floor a hand reaches out and afterwards they cannot find his body. What if that was his guardian angel that Dojin was talking about in this chapter. Also Dojin stopped Taker from rescuing Sooho, so I think he has some sort of plan (and it's not taking his soul, cause he would already take it). All in all damn, that was one tragic scene and Takers griefing was so god damn sad...

I guess this is an attempt to make everyone grey and like there is no real enemy or some shit like that, but it just makes no sense instead... We basically don't know any of the goals that characters want to accomplish and why are they doing the things they are doing (only krul and ferid are a little explained i guess) and we still don't know yuus and mikas history and past lives after almost 100chaps... Also Yuu is so damaged and went downhill as a character (if we compare it to the start) that its actually crazy (and if they wanted to show that damaged side there are better ways than this, cause now he just seems dumb/childlike).
The funny thing is Hwi also has a fucked up past from what little we could see so far, BUT WE DON'T SEE HIM BEING A CRYBABY AND USING IT TO ACT LIKE AN ASS AND A MANIPULATOR MR. HAN, SO YOU CAN JUST BACK OFF (╬￣皿￣)凸
Also I'm kinda disappointed in Param, if he agreed to go to a date with Hwi and thinks he is cute, he should hold off mr Han at least until that date or just tell Hwi straight up and save him the heart break...

4. Maybe the princess (least likely)
These are all potential partners and I don't have a clue which one it is. And I can't really guess by the male figures next to her cause in one scene he has blond hair (probs the mage has blond hair like his sister), in the next black (like the vice-president), and in the recent one he has red hair (like the prince).

So I decided to make a post regarding this issue as well. I honestly feel like we shouldn't hate on Eugene and Hari ship because:
1. It isn't incest, they are not related by blood, so it's not morally wrong and their children won't be affected.
2. Hari may have looked like his sister in the past, but she has grown up since then and she doesn't resemble the little child she was before (appearance-wise), so I don't think that is a problem anymore.
3. When we think about it, she spent 2-3 years with the Ernst and Eugene, BUT spent 4 years with Vastias and Johanes, so most of her grow up period and her transitioning from a child into a young lady she spent with Johanes, so by that logic they could view each other as siblings or close family friends (it's different from the past when she didn't meet him until she was engaged to him).
4. I don't think Eugene ever viewed her as just family, she is really dear to him, but they are not blood related and I don't think he really viewed her as a sister, more as a close friend. They both did not fall in love with each other until much later, aka from this point in the manga when they are both much more mature and meet each other again after years. So I don't know why much hate for a ship that is only just starting, since they didn't have any REAL romantic moments so far.
5.I also don't think Hari viewed him as a brother, or maybe in the beginning, because if we go back to the beginning where she described how they got along, it seemed like she also liked him, but kinda blocked her brain from thinking in that direction because he was her "brother". This part is explained in the novel and hopefully will be explained in the manhwa as well, and the explanation was that she loved Eugene in her first life but, as I said, didn't allow herself to think in that direction.
6. And this point is the most important to me, Eugene loved her in his first life as well. He loved her enough to find a good husband and give her away, but he couldn't walk her down the aisle and give her away himself. He suffered so much in both his last and this life and I feel like he deserves to be happy and be with the one he loves.
Now this story is not for everyone and it touches on a little "controversial topic" per sey, but this is ONLY the start of the story and their love, so I feel like we shouldn't hate and judge them, but actually enjoy the story and judge it in the end when we get all the pieces and their romantic moments and see how they work together.
Your #6, I kinda get a hint that Eugene loves her from the first life, because whenever she tries to reminisce her memories with eugene, he's always there for her, like on the sideline, always there, though they never talk but that serene feeling that she felt when they are alone is an enough hint ( atleast for me) that she felt the same way, also on the first chapter, I guess ? When eugene peeked at her room, his eyes looked hurt . unlike the other brothers who is annoyed.
Yess, also he doesn't like it when Hari calls him brother, so he definitely doesn't view her as family.

Now that you mention it... Yes it might be harder for Hari since she has her past memories. However in her past life they weren't even close... As you said the time line and the events have changed so much that I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she returned his feelings. As for Eugene Idk about his past life but he definitely has a crush on her now Anyways, I guess we will see where it's headed soon enough.
I'm really happy that you all agree with me!! Yes for Hari it could be a little difficult and unexpected, but in the novel she had feeling for him as well, she just never realized. Also Hari and Eugene were close in her past life, but only when they became adults, and even then their relationship was more than platonic, it's just they both did not want to go there. In this life Eugene changed and I think he loved her too much to try and contain himself. Also these are two totally different timelines as you all said, so it's invalid to compare them anymore. Just like how everything changed in The Abandoned Empress because she herself changed.

I hope Khaol will drown in regret of what he did to River, idk how does he think he has a right to request anything or even write Shuyin/River after what he did. He is suffering as he should, cause everyone pays for their choices and mistakes smh. Also poor Kaveri, he wanted to go thru the river, but Khaol ruined that too. I swear he just ruins things...
