True but its also true that euihyun gave euiyoung up willingly because he knew that the environment he was in was not okay for a child. Euihyun isnt a suitable parent, hes not mentally stable enough to care for a child. The omega das might be more suitable to parent but we're not sure, what we are sure of is that euihyun cannot provide an adequate living situation for a child to safely grow up in. Euihyun isnt entitled to euiyoung by any means but i do think that its not the best decision to give a kid up to their parent who ditched them. We just have to see whether the omega dad can take better care of him the most ideal situation wouldve probably been cutting Taeju and the alpha dad out of the picture. They're the source of all the issues that have made euihyun unfit to parent.
I only disagree with him being mentally unstable for taking care of a child. I don't think he's mentally unstable at all. I think he has one of the strongest mental fortitude here. Years of abuse and near-daily exhaustion and yet he never stopped striving for his brother's sake.
You might try to bring up his attempted murder-suicide in the earlier chapters, but it should be considered that at that point he was cornered and already beyond his breaking point. No matter how mentally strong a person is, everyone still has their limits, and at that point he was nearly beyond it.
He's not suitable not because he's mentally unstable, it's just his environment and the people around him that makes it unsuitable.
Hes mentally unstable because hes edured years of abuse, i dont think he can care for a child physically and emotionally without it affecting him. Euihyun needs therapy, he is mentally unstable, denying that is extremely ignorant. To be mentally unstable is an umbrella term for having any sort of mental health condition, which euihyun very much has. I think hes very resistant for what hes been through but the trauma he has experience is something that needs to be treated. He is still with his rapist/abuser and that no doubt has an affect on his mental wellbeing, even if he leaves hes not suited to care for a child on his own. Hes a patient, he cannot be a carer until he is no longer a patient.
I disagree. Years of abuse but not once did he mistreat his brother. The abuse he suffered only conditioned him to be more mentally resilient than normal. Furthermore, from what we've seen, the child is pretty normal overall. Everything only went to shit when the other people started shitting in their lives.
You keep saying he's mentally unstable but what and how exactly is he mentally unstable that he becomes unfit to care for his brother? It's vague.
With all that said though, I'm pretty sure neither of us has the required level of education and professional experience to be able to correctly and accurately assess his mental condition, so I'm not gonna pursue this discussion any further.
