This was a very good story only when relating to Jun's characterization and struggles. I feel like the author did that part flawlessly and it really struck home. The writing on literally ANYBODY else was utter garbage ngl.
As an Indian person I am unsure what's going on here since the author seems to almost mesh the cultures into an odd amalgamation of each-other. I understand since it's fictional, though. Enjoyable and does share some genuine history!

I genuinely hate how cheaply they made Souma into a villain. He had a very interesting backstory and motivations when it came to his realization that Kana and Yuuji were eventually going to leave him behind despite him being the "leader". I feel like him suddenly touching kana felt random due to the fact that we can obviously tell that he has always felt like kana needed him as a shelter. Plus they forgave him way too fast. Not to mention how Yuuji felt one note ngl. This had potential I wish it was better written.
