Wow I’m just so interested in the competition that the romance has become a b plot of the story.
Yes, I was having that thought during all the chapters. The competition is interesting enough, the romance is nice but cmon, first time I feel like this!!
He’s a spineless coward who mislead her for six years lying to her face idk how many times claiming to love her all while wasting her time. Idk care for his reasoning, he was going to enter into a loveless marriage all because he’s a people pleasing coward.
Uh, the point of the chapter was to show she’s wasn’t misled at all. She just fooled herself into believing she could make him fall in love with her along the way. However by essentially cementing herself into his family, he naturally loved her as family and felt that the natural next step in their relationship was for them to date. We know this as well because of the conversation he had with a friend of his before he asked her to meet him. The man probably can’t tell the difference and doesn’t think it’s a big deal because he’s never been in love before. Some people don’t need more than that to tie themselves to someone else.
What’s to you? Making faces, threatening him, acting weird when he’s mentioned like what’s the goal rn???
