I think it was a spoiler.
He didn't really bring back time because he missed her and felt guilty.
It's just because after she died, everything went into ruin. She was the real savior and because she was killed, I believe they were attacked and demons destroyed everything.

If the mage from the tower can remember that the time was in rewind, how come K’s papa couldn’t??

The mage could only remember a bits of memories but he doesn't know why did he do that either. Remember in the early chapter her dad have a dream of the past? He can't just remember everything.

The mage explained it in an earlier chapter remember? Keira doesn't have the memories of turning back time because the mage who helped the other guy turn back time was someone other than the two of them and that mage chose Keira to have the memories.

If he had returned time for Keira he would have stopped the execution in the first place.

And to the others:
The mage doesn't remember turning back time. He just knows that he used the magic. He can sense it but doesn't remember anything but he could also sense his memory protection/preservation spell on Keira which is why he knew that she was the "regressor". Keira is the only one with her memories but she died before time was reversed so she doesn't know what happened after her death, just that it was bad enough to make this mage (who said he'd never use the time reversal magic unless necessary) reverse time.

The mage doesnt choose who gets the memories, its the person who ask for the mage to turn back time. And usually the person chooses themselves to remember and come back to tell the mage but in this case the other person didnt choose themselves but Keira instead to keep their memories

I don't really know how the confusion arose because, really, there was a likely probability that I wasn't referring to the Schaur mage when I said the mage gave Keira the memories. After all I had already referred to the other person as a mage too by saying something like '[this mage] was someone other than the two of them (Keira and the Schaur mage)'. Plus I used the term because it seemed like a logical guess based on what the Schaur mage told Keira

Tl:dr, with the above essentially I'm saying, yeah, I knew that.

I guess the confusion just arose by referring them both as mages but also saying "other guy" and then saying mage again instead of other person. sorry (￣∇￣")

Also would like to point out that he didn't have a change of heart, he's simply being contrary, now that his daughter is no longer seeking to gain his attention, he misses it because he was so used to it he took it for granted.
