Ngl, I absolutely despise Isis, how you gonna victim blame because yo man didn't love you and instead raped what you consider your own brother? I just don't see a way for me to like her at all as of now or well.. Ever lmao. As well as Nephtys, for allowing that shit to go through. As well as that dude who raped Seth (cant remember his bitch ass name) like he was decent looking but it doesn't make up for his ugly ass personality or his actions.. Anyways.. I obviously hate osirius fuckin obssessive bitch. Someone stop me from throwing hands
ANYWAYS...
Nephtys doesn’t know. But I think your take on Isis is fair though I don’t she logically blamed him. She blames Osiris far more than Set from a logical standpoint but emotionally still felt anger and hatred towards Set (the story does it best to portray it as an intrusive, illogical anger that you don’t control).
But she ends up giving into that anger and hatred more as she is chased out and forced into hiding while her followers are brutalized. Set did some pretty inexcusable things even if it was coming from an understandable place (this does not justify how Isis later reacts but it contextualizes it).
None of the Gods are particularly good or easy to empathize with. Set’s easier because he’s the protagonist and Horus is young and pretty decent all things concerned. This is one of those stories where there’s a lot of nuance to each character and while you don’t need to like or forgive them it’s fun to think about.

They areso horrendously down bad for eachothet i love it
