I’m feeling a dissonance between the FL and her supposedly past life. Considering the years she lived in her past life, I was thinking she’d have a wider perspective in how everything works. They are just themselves, they do learn more but that also still depend on their environments.
They are just themselves with their original personalities that they have from they are young to their adults time, just because they are older now, doesn't mean they have to be wiser than anyone younger, doesn't mean they have to know better than anyone younger, doesn't mean they have to be more tolerant than anyone else.
I had a grandma who suffer from alcoholism and depression because of my father who is violent and jobless (because he is lazy).
My mother married my father because it was an arranged marriage (when my father was still very young and have job) and of course my mother suffered. Mom and us children left father after their 27 years of marriage.
Now, I'm a working adult, I send monthly money for my mom to use for herself.
But sometimes she shared it with my jobless brother (he is exact copy of my father with his laziness).
I complained to my mother that the money I gave her is for herself not for my brother.
