The author is new and probably couldn't earn enough from the webtoon which is why she decided to stop. I remember reading the translator mention that it was the author's plan to only continue if she gathered enough audience.
I don’t see how the author expected it to get popular with only 7 chapters- becoming popular doesn’t happen over night. The art is amazingly pretty, and the story was getting real interesting- but that’s it? Such a waste. Σ(っ°Д °;)っ (AND I MEAN THIS IN THE NICEST WAY POSSIBLE!)
