I honestly think there aren't any side couples here to begin with. Maybe it's because i started reading it a little late with 200+ chapters in but the cover's always been the four of them (pls do correct me if otherwise tho! I'd love to see different covers too!).

I mean i get what some are saying about wanting jian xi to have the same development as tianshan but maybe it's also because jian xi had 200+ chapters in the starting run with just them two that tianshan is getting a little more development rn(??) Anyways i do think the author/artist tries their best to always include the four of them in every chapter!! I get that some of you started the manhua because of jian xi but let's still be appreciative of what every chapter brings! <33

Im confused with fl's personality she goes from delicate to reserved to bashful innocent like lady to a badass swordsmaster all of a sudden? Maybe it's just the translations but the plot is all over and i don't really get what's up besides her husband being scum, the emperor hates archduke, the archduke is just playin around (for now) and interested with fl and maxion is the definition of cute

I don't get what the other comments are saying. Maybe it's because I started reading this a little late when it had about 300 chapters in already but aren't the four of them the MAIN characters?? I get that it started out as just jian yi and zheng xi but the four of them are literally in the cover, no? Had it only been them two, I'd kinda get it and I'd assume He tian and Mo are side couples just like any regular manhuas. But I like to see this as something more of a romantic manhua, it's about their friendship all together. Thus, them making a band and everything, making a promise to be together, etc. Also, the author gets to decide what they want to draw I love both couples so I'm just honestly grateful for every chapter.

The story is good but it bothers me how fast everyone seemed to adapt to her entirely new personality. Also the fact that she favored liliana before even apologizing to Elliot makes me just a bit sad. I know actions really speak more than words and it's great that she does so much for both kids but it's also important to apologize to your son who you've been cold to for literally 7 years. Like how Elliot has to hide his talent in drawing, I have an inkling it's the og mother's fault for always belittling such talent but idk, well she encouraged him atleast so ig that's good. Maybe im just too sensitive also when are the parents gonna kiss they're so hot together

I feel so bad for edith. She isn't like other siblings that harbors hatred to those they are jealous of too. She genuinely loves her elder sister even though she feels so inferior to her. I really hope she gets a bit of spotlight some other time again.

people be really expecting mc to be a genius heroine like the others. but let me just point out what I've read so far-

the story's about romance, not something you have to be truly smart about really. Mc has nothing extraordinarily special about her besides the fact that she has a really good heart and a really gorgeous face and personality. She's a commoner who spent half her life alone, secluded, and got nothing to accompany her but books. She wasn't born smart, y'all. The books may tell her knowledge on different matters but no books can ever describe how a human is corrupt, bitches being two-faced and all.

If she doesn't get the experience she just had, how y'all expect her to learn all that?
