It's just poorly written. The plot is predictable and the characters are one-dimensional. You really should lower your standards when reading these kinds of webtoons. Don't take it too seriously lol. They're quick fun and have no real value.

hi how dare you?! I would argue that the main girl in "They Say I Was Born a King's Daughter" is much worse, useless and with no INDIVIDUALITY then the main girl in this story. trust me, at least the girl in this story had little brain then king daughter bs.

but that aside, I do agree the main girl in this story dumb has a wooden sword. hall even a wooden sword will be much smarter than her but she did help someone that needs it when no one did. you can ignore it, but that what she did.

has for the main guy, honestly, you didn't see a real brat with parents like this. I expected much worse behavior from him since you know, neglect is not the greatest way to grow up. he wasn't that bad, he actually was much nicer for a kid that born to parents that didn't love him or each other. and yeas he mostly grows up by himself what was a miracle, really. since she really didn't bother to teach him anything, just spoil him with no end. but well I can't say I hate him, I mostly didn't like how dumb the girl was but well it wasn't such a bad story.

the real bad building story is "They Say I Was Born a King's Daughter" - now that is the worse story ever. fight me if you dare XD

THE POINT ABOUT 'THEY SAY I WAS BORN A KING'S DAUGHTER'!!

Now i'm not going to over hype the story (cause even I will admit that i get lost in the story but that's only after i leave it for awhile to update and then get back into it) BUT THAT STORY IS SO MUCH MORE WORTH MY TIME THEN THIS POORLY PACED TH-THING?!?!

Now the begining of that story...yup..it kinda was like "that's kinda whatchu get bitch" kinda vibe but as it progresses you're always being pulled in to how will she survive the misogynistic type of world all the while, You-as the reader, get to adore her was-once-crazy-now-newly-discovered doting daddy, her psychotic-yet-loving older brothers, her now use-to-be-cute-but-now-he-crazy-prince-slash-friend AND?!?! A-WHOLE-CRAZY-ASS EMPEROR-FROM-A-DIFFERENT-LAND WHO'S ON A WHOLE NOTHER LEVEL OF "WHAT THE FUCK?!" THAT ANYONE WOULDN'T KNOW HOW TO DESCRIBE HIS LEVEL OF DISRESPECT LIKE FOR REAL, FOR REAL.

Now let's be honest if anyone where to come and read my redonkulous response they'd immediately be like..."welp guess i'm gonna go read They Say I Was Born A King's Daughter...CAUSE THAT BIZZ SOUNDS LIT AF!!". Don't ya think? To conclude you do make absolute sense about the overall makeup of each character's flaws and how they come to be, but in the long run what makes a story worth while- is the endgame (plot/the main goal of the story) and how those said characters contribute to making the endgame worth waiting for. And in THIS particular story..YA CAN'T HAVE SHITTY CHARACTERS AND NO PLOT!! At least have shitty characters and DECENT PLOT (however in TSIWBAKD it at least has decent characters and an INTERESTING plot)

I mean here is the usual romance, girl meet boy, girl love boy, boy fall in love with said girl. the usual cliche.

it's not that you don't have a plot at all, you do have a plot. the main girl tries to stop the death of the main villain and his cruel fate - that is the plot. the reason it does not work is cause they didn't add anything to the cliche so it become boring and predictable. most of the characters are just plain and have nothing to add to it, and it does not help the main girl has dumb has a wooden sword. again it's not bad, many people love to read predictable shit.

In They Say I Was Born a King's Daughter the main girl DON'T DO SHIT the moment she was born it looks like she doing something, it looks like she changing something but in the plot and it will be more clear in the late chapters she just there to be saved by the main guys and smile that all her role is. she does not change anything in this world! she might as well don't exist cause the guys are the interesting characters and be better has main characters cause they moving the plot. and yeas the main girl is also dumb as a rock, the only good point in this story is the politic struggle. but what good a politic struggle if you don't care at all about the main girl cause she as interesting as a piece of plastic cardboard. the only thing she is doing is standing there and look pretty. even her love for the main boy is boring with no progress or build-out all. now it become a dumb mace story with robots and cringes with again does not help the story that isn't there anymore. it just insulting the readers. with predictable plot I can handle, but not been insulted has a reader! for that, I won't forgive this plot.

in this story at least it does not insult you has a reader, it does not promise a story it won't show. at least here you do have a solid build-out. their relationship change and grow with time unlike some girl that "oh I"m going to get married with someone....okay"
yeas it isn't the most genius story in the world, I"m sure there are better plots and better MC girls out there, but it isn't the worse either. it gives exactly what you'd expect with the right build-out.

I can't say I agree with this, in a sense what your description was for this story can be said about the other story as well with the exception of a few differences. I can say i agree with people liking a predictable story and i respect that because everyone's got their own tastes, so nothing wrong with that, but I'd have to declare that They Say I was Born A Kings Daughter is far more thrilling than this story.

....because unlike in THIS story Ibelina came from a different world and was already in a semi-matured female body (and is still dumber than a bag of rocks), where as in, They Say I was Born A King's Daughter the main female lead was MURDERED and THEN reborn as an infant...so she had to restart from scratch and as a daughter of king, who both resides in a world where women are looked down upon and he could've easily killed her if she hadn't acted cute in order to get on his good side, right?

So you're already exposed to the 'struggle' that the plot introduces, and it is- that the female lead is in an unjust world and needs to survive for as long as she possibly can until she can finds all the answers that both she AND THE READERS are looking for. In this story they don't really explain how Ibelina died in her past life or how she was transported into her new life...OR WHO THE HECK SHE WAS IN HER PAST LIFE FOR THAT MATTER?! From what I know she was just a dumb little girl and that's it- worth nothing in her past life and worth nothing now. The only struggle presented in this story is a stupid scandal which COULD'VE been easily interesting if the poor cursed boy wasn't so immature and clingy. He totally ruined the adventure in the story, for real-for real.

The main girl in They Say I Was Born A King's Daughter IS IN FACT CHANGING SOMETHING. And there is growth in the characters she encounters, she literally turned her dad from being a women hater/killer into a normal guy who loves his daughter. She LITERALLY is ushering a new era for a kingdom, which despises woman into one that doesn't- starting with man that runs the whole damn place...which IS KINDA A BIG DEAL IF YA COMPARE IT TO OUR WORLD WHERE WOMAN ARE EQUAL. So i don't want spoil stuff just in case someone actually decides to read our discussion, but there's a reason why i DEFINITELY don't agree with how you claim "the female lead isn't interesting or how the story insults the readers by promising a story it won't show" when she is the embodiment of interesting (EVERYONE IN THE STORY WANTS HER BECAUSE THERE"S SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT HER DUH) She also is trying to discover why she is so much more different then she originally had expected, that SPECIAL SOMETHING that's in her which everyone doesn't know could change the very structure of the world she's in. Ibelina HAS NOTHING interesting or SPECIAL about her...THE CHICK HAS NO GOALS FOR GOODNESS SAKE. Though with this whole debate i'm actually rethinking of giving Ibelina a chance because who knows if she become interesting or not. Or if the story's endgame turns out to be something to be proud of or a lost cause.

They Say I Was Born A King's Daughter...is a promising story and it's not that it isn't showing us anything it just isn't in a rush and is taking it time to arrive to the conclusion we all are eager to find out about. There are honestly so many layers to the story that I get why you'd think it's all over the place, but that could be because you're just not invested in the story as much as i am like you are in this story which again I can respect. (They Say I Born A King's Daughter is DEFINITELY worth a read and this story can't equate to it that's just my honest opinion)

there is no story to be invested in "They Say I Was Born A King's Daughter". right she changes those people by smiling and being pretty, this logic doesn't really work even in this unreal world! it just dumb and ask the readers to just accept something that will never work logically, even in this world.

at first, it looks interesting, I say "look" for a reason. but like the start, as you find out later, the main girl doesn't do anything apart from being saved by the guys, only to show off how good the guys are and that's it. that what will keep happening over and over and over again cause she even worse than the girl in this story, at least the main girl in this story with no brain have more growth than the cardboard girl of king daughter that never ever CHANGE. she will never take her own decision, NEVER!! so she just there.....in the world, like the cardboard box she is to play a role.

at least here the relationship grow, when I say growth I mean we see it happen. while "They Say I Was Born A King's Daughter what growth do you even see with the father and brothers??? other then them just one day change their whole VIEW about life and decided they like her. that just dumb! it's not believable either, it actually insulting to any readers. no there is nothing special about her, she just smile and bomb, magic, they all love her. the power of haram I guess or bullshit like this. you name it, cause I don't care.
geez if I know a smile can change a whole view of man that hate women, that would be good for our world XD we won't need an education system either.

what conclusion we all are eager? she is not going to change the world, we already establish that. she is not going to try since it does not seem she cared that much about the world. she only cares about her past love, and even their "love" is boring and flat with no struggle and no problems at all. that's not how relationships work. the conclusion will be the same like in this story, they get married like any bs fairytale for children and that's it, it will solve all the problems in the world. if they going for that at least don't insult readers about topics they know zero about!

They Say I Born A King's Daughter is the worse and no one should read this shit!! unless they want to get angry, been insulated and been frustrated how dumb and useless the main girl is. I read worse of course, but this story is worse than the story in Sincerely: i Became a Duke’s Maid.
