Don't take this the mean way, but like others said he is aromantic, so yeah he doesn't feel the way you described it and that's totally understandable.

I've seen like 4 people with gold eyes....artist......get creative please. It appears gold eyes is your favorite flavor to a character but now they ALL look related to each other. Call me a nitpicker if you want but when you are hyperaware of details and you see repetition to many times it gets aggravating.
4 DIFFERENT CHARACTERS WITH NO RELATION TO EACH OTHER ALL WITH THE SAME EYE COLOR. STAP.
I think it's important plot point that crown prince and Leon (both love/are interested in our MC) have the same golden eyes as the saintess - since they can now claim to be the kid's actual father and in turn tie our MC to them due to parenting claims, and rigid nobility might force marriage on them. I speculate that there will come a time where crown prince will try to get the saintess for the royal family with this trick (who would dare to go against the royal family?), and MC has to work with magician Leon to counter that.
And Leon and this principal lady are a son and mother, so there is at least one relation.
