Okay i thought about this a long time ago but i would still like to point it out because its so sweet
In chapter 4 udou says that if he makes the shot, a miracle will happen, but if he misses, it wont and he misses. Later, kiyotake came along and does the same and he makes the shot...then a "miracle" happens and the younger udou came to bring him to the older bro!
I think it symbolized how udou was sad and negative-thinking and it affected his shot, while kiyotake was happy and found the good in udou so his shot made it. and maybe it meant that even if udou will always be anxious and worried, kiyotake will be there to cheer him up and create miracles for udou. Very beautiful (even if it is only my interpretation) great work as always, ogawa-sensei!

Ughhh this hurts me...anyway, so we know that kaoru gets married so he can succeed but he still meets hyakkei in secret.
My interpretation of 6.5 is that kaoru is happy that he at least spends time with hyakkei even though it's only for a short time but, if this is the final ending, then i assume either
1 he doesnt know when it could all stop (if hyakkei gets tired of him and they stop meeting) so hes worried and he will continue worrying forever
Or
2 he wishes they could have more time together other than just these short meetings and he isnt satisfied with having to marry someone he doesnt love
Either way its very sad. Sensei pls continue... ╥﹏╥

The seme was a butthead and te ending was rushed, but i think he somewhat changed. Like from the newspaper you could tell he was going to find a job as a watchman or something with suits(?)
and in the last story he was trying to say all the embarrassing things while pretending it was just his part as a host and acting all cool, but he was still embarrassed and spaced out and his cigarette was backwards and thats how the uke knew he meant those words
Ahahah sehara telling stories that even predict the future, hes such a good storyteller
...BUT THEY WERE SO SAD. I absolutely loved this story with every fiber of my being. The only thing i can even begin to critique it with is that the stories that were told werent absolutely accurate in terms of history, but it's so bittersweet and sad and and taught a lot of life lessons—like how someone else said, that not everything is simply black and white. I loved the different cultures that were represented in this story, too. Beautiful, and even had a happy ending! One of the best manhwa of all time!
