I don’t know man... that’s kinda weird ya know? No one in the family should be normalizing this behavior. Going to lead to trauma scars and future psychologist visits. This is not the way to grief a mother’s death, ya know? And the father should be ashamed for making his son do this. No shame in cross dressing but doing it to pretend to be the mom? Nahhhhh
>Knows that she reincarnated in a shoujo manga
>Doesn’t know the shoujo manga story
>Does she even know that she’s a villainess character??? Besides the obvious title.
>I’m getting more of a “canon fodder in a shoujo mystery” vibe than a villainess one.
She glossed over a lot in the intro for the sake of what? The author is trying to push the story forward incredibly fast when it doesn’t need to.
Huh? No wonder people think this is boring when they apparently can't even figure out the answers glaring at them. She does know the story. She just doesn't know the ending. Of course she knows she's the villainess because that's how she knows she dies! As for being too rushed it's odd that people say this when ordinarily if they believe they haven't been given answers to all their questions that would mean the story is not being rushed. And this is all by their own 'logic'.
Let’s be real here, if this was real life, people would be throwing themselves at Ethan. Bow tie, plaid, and all. You don’t need an accidental touch to know he’s... ahem... big down there based on his proportions and the glasses can’t hide the attractive face. But this is a Chinese yaoi and only in China does any sort of blemish apparently makes the person ugly, smh (no offense based on my final line. But you gotta notice the trend).
Then why the fuck are there people in the comment section calling this Chinese???? What???
Either way, there’s still a prominent problem in media in general where there’s a need for a character to change because they have X flaw. Western culture is a bit ahead of the curve in “loving yourself” but not that much, it’s mostly a marketing strategy smh. Eastern is behind though they do have their moments with that message from time to time. Chinese comics are easier to pick at since it’s rather forward with it for dramatic purposes Ex. Transmigration story where the unwanted third child has a birthmark on their face. Or an high school student with glasses and braids being picked on for being ugly.
Can’t speak for China itself, though my experience as an Asian along with friends from across Asia, our experience with the high beauty standard is eerily similar. Purely experience though there are many studies conducted on the beauty standard out there.
I will admit it is my bad for simply looking at the comments after reading and my analysis on Chinese comics looks bad. But the point still stands about the ridiculous beauty standard (an old one at that “nerdy = ugly”) and if it was realistic, Ethan would highly be sought after as a partner and a friend.
Local Brown-Haired Shoujo Girl desperately simps for Generic Black-Haired RPG Boy. Boring from first glance yet something fitting about seeing two basic hoes get together! Like A Mary Sue and Gary Sue hooking up or a Stacy and a Chad!

Finally this manga ended. Should have ended with the saving of the demon lord and the downtime of them falling in love. Her reluctance was kinda stupid (but I guess that it’s #Normal), but because of her reluctance, it made this ending seemed rushed since she didn’t “naturally” fall in love with him; only through a rushing of circumstance.

Hello, this is your captain speaking. The Fivey ship just currently over took us in the race as more and more people speak about that ship. As for us Senior Brother shippers, our boat is currently on fire due to creepy actions.
Which, admittedly is fine since if you’re on this ship, then you are a fan of yanderes. It is simply uncomfortably hot to the common individual. It is simply our thermostat on the fritz.
Stay strong Senior a Brother shippers. We’re on the main male lead’s side (most likely). We will win this race. Now please enjoy our complimentary peanuts and coffee. Over and out.
Ooh!~(〜 ̄◡ ̄)〜
