Bruh can y'all just stop being purists?? Some people like sleeping around and it's not a bad thing. It's their OWN body. I know friends who have several fuck buddies and they're normal everyday people. We all deal with problems and emotional trauma differently, some of us settle with sex and although it isn't a good coping mechanism, we really can't blame the person for choosing that because they are different so of course they are gonna choose a different decision.
Don't think everyone will think the same as you or uphold to the same cultural/ social beliefs as you, everyone has the right to their opinion on the story and/or characters. You name calling just because you don't agree is wrong in my opinion.
They weren't name calling, just sharing their opinion. There's been self-described "purist" spamming these comments... they're calling it like they see it. To be honest their opinion is way more tame then some folks on here straight up slut shaming and being rude. Just like how everyone has their opinions, preferences, and etc... everyone deals with their body differently.
I know everyone has their own thing but I just can't help but giggle at people clearly reading smut but then being such prudes about it. The contradiction is actually a little endearing, ahaha. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
calling some people "purists" is name-calling though. I don't get why most commentators are either venomously hating on promiscuous people/characters or maliciously hating on those people who are hating? If you going to voice your opinions just be civil and treat everyone as a human being.
Yeah, if it's unwarranted or ill intended but it's not when people themselves are calling themselves that... like I mentioned before. Screen the comments, multiple people have been calling themselves that AND slut shaming.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but this is literally smut and the tags are usually spot on so it always urks me when people complain and shame others. At least leave some constructive criticism. (This isn't directed at ya, @vampirequeen, just in general.)
Yeah, just read some of them... people are really slut shamming the character and some even calling themselves such an offensive name. My bad maybe I was just being overly sensitive.
I understand where you are coming from, but I called them purists because they actually call themselves that. I saw previous topic threads and got people calling themselves "purists".
At least you understand where I'm coming from. But then again I guess I'm just rambling on to a bunch of mlm fetishizers since most people who slut-shame here are like that. Also, side note : I would NEVER call someone a purist if they don't publicize them slut-shaming people, even just fictional characters. Plus I'd never learn the term if it wasn't for all these self-proclaimed purists. Guess I was just mad because I had friends who were called sluts and other degrading terms. So why not call them out for hurting someone's feelings? It reflects their attitude in real life and are probably the same people who talk behind someone's back for sleeping around. Even if you disagree with someone having FsWB you should never talk behind someone's back. That's it. And it's rich coming from them slut-shaming when they are literally reading yaoi.
PS I'm not mad at u or anything. I actually learned something from you, and I'm truly sorry if I offended some of you. Should've removed that 'purist' thing even tho people called themselves that, some are still gonna get offended. But I'm really not used to being civil and all. I'm just so mad at slut-shamers because I myself, have been slut-shamed, but that's too personal and I guess some of y'all won't like me talking about my life story. Also very awakening experience, I was also a slut-shamer way back when I was 13. I grew up in a close-minded, very religious asian household, I think u get the gist of it. Because of that experience, I learned to see things from their perspective and learned from people online scolding slut-shamers, I'm thankful for them actually.
