Im putting together lists of ideas to include in my own novels and want to know - In general what are your favorite things to see in BL (can be from anime/manga/webtoon/novels/any media source) or what do you like to see but don't see enough of? (=・ω・=)
I think my awakening was from Vampire Knight, I felt like there was some form of tension between kaneme and zero and I liked seeing them close together on screen though I wasn't sure why. (I would of been about 12) and then I found a Dj after looking at fan art of them.... oh boy, then I went down a rabbit hole of all the yaoi, the rest is history.
Started off watching anime(first one was inuyasha - not counting pokemon), ended up reading manga from that, then went into webtoons and then novels. I still read manga/webtoons when my eyes need a break from novels, but its rare for me to watch anime now. No reason apart from liking it as a hobby. It started for me back in 2004 so almost 20 years ......

Years ago I did deviantart and also did commissions for pet portraits, but then my art got stolen and was used on a chinese website to sell and then I stopped sharing art online as I couldnt do much about it once it was out there, but I enjoy it recreationally still. usual mediums are either pencils or digitally via procreate.
