Should I read this? Characters or story good?
Definitely, you should try it out.
The character development is really good and some of them have pretty deep backstories, Riku especially.
The way they grow in their emotions and learn to express themselves more is also very fun to read, especially Ten.
If I had to rate it, personally I'd give it an 8.5/10, it's cute and funny, and can also be heartwarming and wholesome at times.
And lastly, the bromance between Riku and Chiaki is one of my favourite things about it
The brother is distrusting and hilarious. Can’t wait for his falling out of grace and power event.... hope it comes soon (this isn’t a spoiler, just a hope)

So dude has ptsd problems, that doesn’t really excuse what he did but it’s also a reason. It explains why he did it and gives a valid explanation. PTSD isn’t always reasonable or rational, but I don’t think his behavior should be excused. Just understood.
