everyones complaining about the “yassification of victor” when literally hes always been like that on the inside. he had his guard up and walls that not even thors hammer can break through. But yohan softened him up and broke down his walls himself. Victor has always been sensitive since he was a child. Of course he was snappy and cold when they first met because of victors past!! victor was afraid of getting close to anyone due to how traumatized he was. is no one paying attention? Yohan is his peace and comfort.. of course he’s gonna soften up and get “puppy dog eyes” around him, doesn’t everyone do that when they’re with their lover?

I get what you mean about Victor's change as character, but let's not read too much into this change in his appearance. The artsyle changed on him. His facial features & figure straight-up changed. Bigger eyes, smaller face, thin, shorter, small body. I think a change in clothes, hair, weight, or expression in a character's appearance can change from their feelings, but not permanent features like the size of their eyes, or body proportions. Author just wanted to change the style
Victor definitely softened from Yohan tho. He gives more genuine smiles & blushes more.
