I do like Nishina, he's gone through shit and needs love. He must have found salvation through Nao and is now chasing that. As friends, I believe that Nao can heal Nishina; but as lovers, I don't think they could progress that much given the current situation (Nao still loves Taichi very much, and I can't say for sure if Nishina's feelings for Nao is actually lovel).
As for Taichi, he's very impulsive and doesn't have good communication skills. But as seen in the previous chapters, he's slowly changing. In my point of view, the story seems to be veering to his character development.
I might get some comments with this but I'm perplexed as to how people are so easy to judge Taichi; it's like seeing people hating someone for being so human. This is like another Kan-chan all over again.
To anyone who's having a hard time with the rough translations, I have two tricks: one is to skim through the sentences and pick out the important words; the other is to just stop reading if you're just too annoyed by it.
In my opinion, the English is pretty readable. There are a few errors but not to the point of unbearably bad.
