Well, that's the still. I don't know but I have a theory that they might end the series with it showing the world with no magic maybe due to something happening. It be great.

Is there any other respond besides this manga should have ended. Seems weak that you all don't see the bigger picture. The writer probably believed that the ending we read was improper to the end it all. So she might probably be setting up an even larger story. For an example, what if the ending is where all magic is removed from the world and all races are separated thus creating the current world we are walking on.
That would be sad :( I would say remove all magic but have everyone try and live harmoniously (and yes i know it seems impossible but hey...it's anime xD)
