The story is really great and not far from reality. I remember reading this and stopped midway so I don't have to leave each day with an ill feeling after an emotional chapter but when I binged it, everything went well. And I've been avoiding the title for a long time as well even if it's been completed for a while now because of the rating. Glad I ignored it.
If I were to justify the ratings, people probably didn't like how it's "incest" and "toxic" huh?

Kidding aside, I didn’t think there was another title that could make me as angy as Black Lotus. I love angst, but when a seme cheats and uke blindly ignores the flaws (my personal no-go), I think it’s best to wait out when a lot of chapters are uploaded.

I don’t mean to pull on genres but I remember reading this when it was still around 16 chaps. When it picked up on chapters I decided to read again and… this is looking more like a regular Yaoi and Mystery at most. Even categorizing this under Mystery would be too generous.
I’m guessing the “psychological” part of the story is the stalker scenes, and the mysterious things that are happening.
