I think ‘honest people’ need to know when there is an appropriate time to say things, and when it isn’t. I know it’s a comedy but it gets on my nerves when these ‘honest people’ bluntly say whatever comes to their minds.
If this is about him saying she gained weight then I mean she asked, and he responded so I see no issue. He didn't randomly bring it up nor did he say it at all with bad intentions. He even said it doesn't matter what weight she is she'll still be cute, so it wasn't even negative just a straight answer.
Even then he still should know how it would have impacted her feelings. He should still think before he speaks, bc anybody could have taken it the wrong whether he wanted it to or not. I think it’s a funny story and I know it’s light hearted but I just wanted to express my frustration bc she seemed hurt

If you think about it she didn’t cross a line or go overboard, of course we know that the tiger didn’t kill the child but that’s only bc we are the readers so we know everything. They didn’t know everything, so try to imagine seeing the one who brutally slaughtered your one and only child? No mom would ever be sane enough to talk to them. The deaths of children are the most painful hell for mothers. So it makes sense that she wants it to be he’ll for him, I’m more surprised that she didn’t try to kill him right away bc I know that I would if I were her.
