I don't think y'all understand that haewon more than likely can't leave. Literally in ch 1 you see him running away from haeyoung before haeyoung strikes him. Haeyoung is not going to easily let go of him. In ch 10 it tells a whole thing where in middle school he made a new friend and starts ignoring haeyoung for literally 3 days and in return haeyoung beats him up in a music room. Also haeyoungs rich so more than likely if haewon goes to the cops the parents or haeyoung himself will pay them off and in return the cops will ignore haewon. Bcs believe it or not police are corrupted like that. Also haewon has no where to go he can't go back home bcs hell he abused by his dad. He's not rich enough to get another apartment. He has no education beyond being a highschool graduate. I get it's frustrating to see him deal with this shit and deal with even more shit in the future. I too want him to leave, but bcs of his living situation he probably cant. y'all gotta stop victim blaming him. Especially when he had been abused his whole life by his dad and now by haeyoung. Like y'all really think if he tries to cut ties with the three of them they're just gonna let him? They're just gonna be like oh he's ignoring me ok that's fine. Like no they're gonna do everything they can in order have him by their side (hyunwoo might but taegyeom and haeyoung? Nah. Like I highly doubt that)

The way that the family comes out unscathed is insane like the mom humiliates eunchae the sister drugs him and the brother basically scams and the other brother forces the half brother to have a relationship with him so he won't fuck with eunchae and the sister kidnaps him and eunchae is like yea have the money she says good bcs you would of refuse I would locked you up in a room for a few years. Like the fact they did all that horrible shit to him and yet no consequences no nothing. Like the author could of wrote anything different to where eunchae gets his revenge and the family end up poor. Or have him find out himself that he's the real son and get the money. Bcs ik damn well that the sister did not need that money she could easily made that money herself. It's not like she needed the money she just wanted it. This whole story truly makes me believe that the author hates poor ppl bcs how do you make the mc go through all that shit from his step family from humiliating to drugging to kidnapping and yet at the end have them not have any consequences for their actions? Like that's actually insane
