Agreed :) the stories weren't designed to be overly complicated, rather just short sweet and to the point and I think the author did a wonderful job of this!

It's crazy to me that Chiaki would force the uke, when asking first would have worked fine. I guess that Chiaki finally fell for him in the end, writing his name on the wall.
