Agreed. I have a very loving father, and it kills me if i have to lie to him.

My mother tho... is scum of the earth, and i dont feel a thing if i lie to her.

This is an interesting discussion. I'm the complete opposite. I rarely if ever lie. I feel like I disrespect the person if I lie to them. Like it's wrong to think they can't handle the truth. But on the other hand, both my parents are pretty good.

It sounds like you learned to lie to protect yourself, like a self protecting mechanism. I didn't grow up in that environment so didn't learn to lie. I'm a horrible lier, for better or worse. Telling the truth has gotten me in trouble quite a bit but... my dignity stays intact. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

You start lying to your parents then when you start you can’t stop. Then it spirals into your daily life when you start telling small white lies to your friends and etc. It becomes easier and easier and easier to the point where you can fake emotions and come up with whole ass stories on the spot and no one begs to differ.

Not all lies are bad. And I do plenty of white lies - How are you? Fine. (No, I'm not but hey, not telling you the truth = lie)
