Honestly makes sense since if someone makes a story that lasts for years, it can be hard to let go of- since the characters are like their babies growing up. Or even difficult to let go of the story since the story may have games famed and they want to keep that same energy for their next works (kinda like the one hit wonder song thing).

Yashiro hasn't come back to the original world yet, and older Hanako isn't Tsukasa. Even if it's not explicitly stated, their ayes are always drawn differently, unless they are blacked out. Hope this helps!
