Okay so he wants that house. He wants to create an opportunity to buy the house and taking that painting will give him one. Mildred wants to sell the damn house when the girls get married anyway. Granted he doesn’t know that but he does know they are very tight financially so offering a price on the house won’t exactly be unwelcome to Mildred. Is he trying to get the house for a lower price and no outside competition? If so then what plan does he have for the painting? Maybe he thinks that if Mildred has more money she will be less willing to sell him the house? So, is he going to tell them that the painting is not real and give them a counterfeit? That way when he offers to buy the house they will be more open/desperate to sell it to him. Guys tell me if my line of thinking is sound because if so I want this man to BURN.
Also, side note, what was that panel that had a scene of them on a picnic like before? Was that a memory or part of the painting?

I feel so bad for Lilith. Her mother is absolute trash. However, I am worried. Lilith said “I don’t like people who don’t listen to me.” To Sasha. If prince payn and Art had not come back would she have hurt Sasha? I want Lilith to have a happy ending after all she went through. However, a lot of villains have tragic backstories and if she is not careful she will become another one.
By "don't listen to me" I think she meant don't listen to her opinion or who she is as a person. As in, don't hear her and just project their own expectations and ideas onto her. Lilith's aggressive reaction to Sasha happened after Sasha mentioned The Story. Given her backstory and the abuse that she suffered, I think her reaction was a result of PSD; she was acting defensively out of her trauma and fear that maybe Sasha was another person like her mother who knows about The Story and would try to force Lilith to be the character from it.
After all she suffered because The Story, it's understandable for her to have PSD and to react extremely to a trigger after finally escaping her abusive situation after so long. It absolutely does not make her a villain and I 100% don't think the story will make her one.
